Why, indeed.  THAT, fellow patriot, is the question that dare not be asked.

I agree with steve 100%.  Also consider a world where a teacher trying to inspect a students backpack because it set off metal detectors and may contain guns or other weapons, then the teacher realizes he's much bigger then the student so he shouldn't be the one to restrain him when he refuses instructions...   So many people seem to comment on the size difference...   since when is it a crime to be big?  In fact, he was probably given that job  because he is big, and is able to handle students that resist authority.

I think people need to stop JUMPING to all these conclusions, without knowing the facts.....ALL the facts, not media fed!

Granted, I'm old school, and I for one believe in " Spare the rod, spoil the child!"

But his video doesn't show anything except what the media wants you to see.............same as the DOCTORED tapes from the Martin/Zimmerman story!

Funny how they can stir everybody up to such an explosive fury, then they do as they fill fit!

Anyone who thinks that a school official has no right to stop, restrain a student that defies authority, then I pity your children, because in such a world they would be going to school in a system run by street gangs where a teacher couldn't even act if he suspected a student was carrying a weapon or selling drugs, because all the students would know they can resist and the school can't do anything.

For all those who say they should call the police... wtf??? like the police need to get involved everytime a student mouths off or is out of control? and do you really think a student carrying a gun to class will simply wait there for the police to come arrest him??? NO!!! he will walk out laughing, hide the gun, then claim he fled in fear of his life, and bleeding hearts like you will call him an angel.

There were a room full of witnesses here who probably say a student refusing to follow instructions and then being restrained. This looks like just another carefully edited video designed to get ratings, not to uncover the truth, and it will probably cost the tax payers a lot of money.

The teacher is black, and most likely belongs to a teacher's union, and the student is a boy. Nothing will be done.

This teacher should be in court on charges of at the least assault, and his license to teach be for ever suspended.  f the kid was acting aggressive or out of control all the teacher had to do was notify the principal and the police.  His actions are deplorable, and to think he is in a classroom with our kids.

Outrageous, some kind of control freak, power monger manhandling a very young man half his size.  The guy attacking him looked like Godzilla to me.  For shame people.

I don't care what the kid did unless he was making aggressive actions toward the teacher.  I do believe a lot of kids are out of hand and they don't have enough rules to back them up, but to see this tape it is very disturbing to me that he was definitely manhandled.  When I was in school in the 50's, if a kid acted up, they were instantly expelled.  The schools didn't have to put up with anything.  Thank the unions for these changes.

Teachers should have PR-24's, Tasers, H&K MP-5's, M16-A1's, and so on, AND the training to use them all effectively.

Today's kids are $h!+$.
