On the subject of Rand Paul being Conservative, I just had a talk with someone who is Conservative. Your perfect Conservative man. He didn't give his name but his username is Punisher Man and he even had his photo. He advocated shooting of public officials who didn't bend to the Conservative cause. When one mentally disturbed man shot a city official doing his job, enforcing zoning laws, your Conservative man considered the mentally disturbed man, an American Patriot which the Founding Fathers would be proud of and the city official got what he deserved. The real American Patriots are the men and women who serve in our arm forces protecting this country. Your perfect Conservative man was advocating shooting of public officials and police officers who didn't bend to Conservative policies. One thing I will never be Conservative, I used to been. I'm not even Liberal. I'm a Moderate Independent. Your Perfect Conservative Man. Aren't you proud of him?

I am a Citizen of the United States of America and a Vietnam Veteran with more than ten years of Military Service to this country. My Citizenship gives me the Right to Work. I did belong to a Union for more than 15 years and was a Union Officer for many of those years, but it was not required, and I could leave the union and keep the job if I desired. Had anyone ever told me that I had to pay a union or any other third party for the right to work in the USA, I would have either let the taxpayers support me or gone to another country where I would be allowed to work and support my family.

National right to work makes sense to me. In America it just makes sense that people should not be forced to join a union (and pay dues) in order to get a job. Americans should be free to work anywhere they can, without this burden. And, if you want to, you'd still be able to join a union. You just wouldn't be forced.

Then there's the issue of being forced to join a union, and the union then taking your dues and making contributions to politicians you may oppose. This should be a crime.

Tom Edwards: I read your comment of your uncles, one a electrician, another a plumber. If your uncles are union, the problem with these unions is that members cannot look for their own jobs (solicit). The union will give them the jobs. That is one thing I don't like about the unions doing this. I belong to the carpenters union and the members can look for their own jobs (solicit) or the union can find them jobs. I prefer what the carpenters union is doing. It can both ways. I always got work. There are pros and cons on unions as there are pros and cons on non-unions. One pro on unions is if a contractor needs a large workforce, the unions can supply. That is the problem with non-union.  I know a non-union contractor and he needed a workforce and he couldn't get. One con about non-union, they tend to look at illegals coming to work for them.

Robert Neeley: Rand Paul IS a perfect Nazi. Respected and "Conservative"? I used to been a Republican, Never again. I was back stabbed by 2 Conservative Republicans. That is why I'm a Moderate Independent. Of the 2 Conservative Republicans, one of them went to prison for taking public money and kickbacks. I'm not with the Democrats. They got their problems. I read some of the comments. More rant than reality.

It doesn't help unions whe they take a trip to Las Vegas . With a fancy spa and etc. all on the unions payers dime

The only way Rand Paul can pull off a National Right to Work Law is with a GOP congress and president. The law should effect both private and public workers. Even better, it should disband all public unions as nothing more than vehicles for enriching the union leadership and enabling less than mediocre workers to keep their jobs. Maybe if there were no teachers unions teachers would actually teach or find another career path.

Unfortunately as we have seen in Wisconsin the union bosses care more to keep the big deficit spenders in power in political offices from local to National Government- They used incredablly dirty tactics of intimidation and hate directed at those that do not agree with them, poisoning our political landscape with hate and rage.

Their supposed support of the working class is a fallacy and a lie from the get go as they support economic policies that bankrupt employers and State Governments with free entitlements they can no longer afford to pay thus jepordizing workers jobs and quality of life!

Sadly, unions while once were needed to protect workers rights have morfed into Democrat Party election mills sustaining class warfare, greed and envy and no accountability to the taxpayer!

union corruption and greed is never mentioned while corporate greed is highl;ighted- Without employers or corporations to demonize and fleece, unions wouldn't exist!

I worked steel for several years. It was a union job. My next job was non union. I had the same pay and same benifits without the dues taken out. The unions tried to force us to become union. We refused. Was thanked with a raise by the owner. Went back to school and became a College instructor. They said I had to join the union! I quit! Went to work in the priate sector and had as good a retirement as the union personel. I made twice what my unkles made. One was Electrician and other a Plumber. I worked steady and they was off a lot of the time

TO EITHER HAVE AN ATTORNEY REPRESENT YOUR GROUP FOR A CONTRACT, OR TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER UNION. MEMBERS OF SEIU. WERE MAKING MORE MONEY THAN SKILLED TRADES!
