Good points, bill c., and I begin my reply with this quote from Jefferson, concerning complaints from a Danbury Conn., Baptist minority, that felt the religious liberties they practiced were not viewed has protected rights, but has priveleges granted by legislators, legislation, (law).  "Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship,  that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not  opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law  respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise  thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.  [Congress thus inhibited from acts respecting religion, and the Executive  authorised only to execute their acts, I have refrained from prescribing even  those occasional performances of devotion, practiced indeed by the Executive of  another nation as the legal head of its church, but subject here, as religious  exercises only to the voluntary regulations and discipline of each respective  sect.] Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in  behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the  progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural  rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social  duties." http://www.usconstitution.net/jeffwall.html 

      A progress of sentiments within the public, republic, which acts to perpetuate the "republican form of government" our Constitution authorizes. Jefferson's "sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural  rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social  duties." Social duties that do not require the implementation of a government regulatory, and agencies, completely out of the republics design, or control, but has the Northwest Ordinance further supports the ideals which grow, and protect the whole, "the peoples" representatives wisely inserted,   Art. 3. Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged. The utmost good faith shall always be observed towards the Indians; their lands and property shall never be taken from them without their consent; and, in their property, rights, and liberty, they shall never be invaded or disturbed, unless in just and lawful wars authorized by Congress; but laws founded in justice and humanity, shall from time to time be made for preventing wrongs being done to them, and for preserving peace and friendship with them."

@ 1 Abram.... "Amendment I.....Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." I am in agreement with the link in your comment below. I think the problem is that we and many others are dancing around the real issue(s) because we are not sure how the election in november will turn out. Issue #1: Who has or is working on the comphensive plan for the states to put the federal govervment back into the cage crafted for it by the Constitution? Issue #2: Is Islam a religion that is qualified for protection under the Constitution? While the answers to these issues may not be ready for prime time, I hope and pray that there are legal teams working on these and other issues such as vote fraud, etc. If Constitutional Conservatives do not have the organization to fight the legal battles that will prevent an actual armed battle, then forget sbout fighting or winning an armed battle.

@Lynn Keith Fallis....Do you have any evidence that any of the founders only intended to protect the Christian religion? (This was not written into the Constitution.)

Yes Thomas Jefferson knew way back then that Islam wasn't a good thing.  If he would have been listened to back then maybe we wouldn't be in the fix were in now.....

Yes June your telling it as it is. It is an Idealogy and it is and has been pressured onto this people for many centuries and it is't just going to fall by the wayside. It has been so implemented into the Psyche's of so many that it is now a learned behavior and there are so many of them now that it will take an act of God himself to stop it. And the way that things are heading it won't surprise to see the big guy step in. All we can do is pray for these people.  We definitely need to vote Mr Obama an his minions out in Nov. if we don't we won't have an true America anymore....

Would just like for people to think for a moment! Tell me that the Moderate Mulim would not change their ways if the extremists should ever win God forbid. I believe that they would turn on a dime. The school that they have in Alexandria virgina should be shut down it should not be allowed on our soil.  They won't let the department of education really see what they are teaching. If they are on our soil. And American should be able to walk into that school and see exactly what their teaching methods are all about and see what lessons plans they are truely following.... What say you?

If those Muslims that do not believe or practice the radicalism in their religion  they need to step forward and conmdem radicalism ,otherwise they're thought to be supporters and subject to continued suspicion. The very words in the Kuran spell what their mission is so how can anyone think differently.
