NO things have not changed w/our gov't...further & further away we move from our Judeo-Christian heritage & our leaders, many of them, just 'keep on truckin', further & further away. It has been shown, particularly w/autism that mercury or lead is a leading factor, doctors, it seems choose not to 'more efficiently diagnose 'cancers; & people are suffering, suffering, dying...why aren't they using their intellingence or do they not want us to get well & lead productive lives...educators hands are also tide & we wander why American children rang lower than the orientals & its' because we 'teach kids to 'pass tests' rather than the 'facts of life, common sense, practical application, good nutrition & exercise- doesn't anyone else, see, also, the 'obesity in America-too much fat & it's, also
'clogging the brain'* When will we 'grow up, wake up & get busy' about living life to it fullest?
Because I'm a Christian, still able to work ( thank you LORD) & wish to be productive & happy, I'm sharing this* GOD BLESS Y'ALL

Why would things change know, these beurocrats have been lieing and deciving us for years.
You look the outher way and there will be rewards in it for you as the supplyer would say to the FDA inspector.

He didn't say kill off the unwanted and abort the little ones! he didn't say the old ones have to go, because the unwanted need to make space for the desired! Are you people who think this way calling God a Liar? HE DID say BE FRUITFULL and multiply!!!

Even if the testing were done, there would be a cover-up. I have personally seen the DEQ attempt to cover up the fact that raw sewerage was deliberately been funneled into a ditch which drains into a bayou, draining into a river that is the mouth of the Bay of St. Louis. After fighting for almost a year, the sewerage lines are now in place but these offenders have not hooked up. There is a law, but it has no teeth. Typical government. I don't eat local fish. EPA and DEQ are liars.

Seafood coming from China is detained and requires testing until 5 containers are clean. After that only <2% of seafood gets tested, therefore Chinese food could be contaminated and no one would know.

It is well known that both mercury and arsenic are found naturally in seafood. Arsenic is found in shrimp and crabs. Mercury is found in mostly larger fish and the older the fish, generally, the higher the concentration. The heavy metals found in crude oil are mostly bound within fairly large molecules and not easily removed. Most of these metals will form insoluble salts as the oil is biodegraded and sink to the ocean floor. These added amounts will be a small addition to the environment considering the huge area the final oil has dispersed. The tropical storm contributed to the huge area where the oil was dispersed.

Mercury dental fillings anyone? Lead exists throughout most American homes today. The Colonists' pewter cookware came in very handy for making bullets, by the way, since the British controlled the oceans.

Look at a bag of Doritos or many other food products and you may read the very common ingredient silicon dioxide, aka silica, sand.

"Inhaling finely divided crystalline silica dust in very small quantities (OSHA allows 0.1 mg/m3) over time can lead to silicosis, bronchitis, or cancer, as the dust becomes lodged in the lungs and continuously irritates them, reducing lung capacities. (Silica does not dissolve over time.)

In respects other than inhalation, pure silicon dioxide is inert and harmless. "

This is true of many other solids we encounter in life. The Earth's crust is mostly comprised of silicon, aluminum, iron, and calcium. A good bit of lead is present as well. Yet, the human body regulates itself to contain less than 1.6% of these elements combined, even if you eat dirt on occasion, which we all do. Seems like an intelligent design.

Exercise, eat right, drink plenty of water. Wash your hands. If it tastes or smells funny, stings, numbs, or causes other unusual sensations, spit it out or move to fresh air immediately. If it it makes you sick, makes you cough, gag, avoid it in the future. If the dog or cat doesn't like it, don't dismiss their reaction. Don't be wreckless with strong chemicals.

Of the kids I remember eating paint chips as a dare on a military base during my youth, I believe 3 of the 5 graduated in the top 10% of their high school class. How did the dare come about? Somebody was warned of the dangerous paint...

Difficult to determine what is really going on in the video. It would seem to be a reasonable study to sample seafood for potential accumulation of toxic products. This study would take years to complete. The FDA and NOAA guys looked confused when asked about a scientific study. Could they be more political than scientific?
