Standing against big government and for the people!
Knowing what went on behind the scenes in the primaries and how each and every candidate who was truly supportive of our constitution, a true conservative, a true believer in the Lord and Him as our source for survival as a nation was brutally picked off one-by-one so that the RINOs nominee would be the Republican candidate, Mitt Romney; and knowing how the Tea Party people, those who are willing to say "No" to the government and "Yes" to our Constitution were treated with disdain at the RNC convention ... who can we vote for?
I must admit that it gave me a little comfort to hear the testimonies singing the praises of what a wonderful man Mitt Romney is by the parents who had lost their children. That was very touching and heartwarming.
However, I still have to remember his voting record in the past and I keep asking myself "Does a leopard change his spots?" It has been my experience that this just does not happen. I keep reminding myself that the Mormons are good people, but while Mitt was the priest of the Mormon congregations, he still voted to abort babies and other socialistic, progressive agendas. He promised the feminists "I have been very clear on that, I will preserve and protect a woman's right to choose and am devoted and dedicated to honoring my word in that regard. I will not change any provisions of Massachusetts' pro-choice laws."
Almost everyone has heard that part of the video, but have you listened to the entire video? It goes on to talk about girls who are under 18 needing the permission of her parents to have an abortion. "And if a parent doesn't go along, one can go to a judge or justice to get that permission, and so far, in Massachusetts' history, when a young woman has gone to a judge, not one single time has there been a denial of that permission."
So what am I to do? LORD, please help me.
I have listened to what many Tea Party leaders have said in that we need to work within the Republican Party to take over from the inside. But after the convention and what I have observed during the primaries, does anyone actually believe that the RINOs (who have the biggest chunks of money and who are willing to use it to defeat us ... i.e. Carl Rove) are going to allow that to happen? Did they not learn their lesson from the RNC convention?
Yes, it is true that we can begin by electing true Christian, conservative, constitutional candidates on local and state levels and then move them up to the national level. We just saw Ted Cruz in Texas overcome all odds with the help of the Tea Party folks educating the voters in our state.
My question is, do we have time enough left in America to follow that course of action before the train goes all the way over the cliff. It is my opinion that the train has already gone over the cliff and is now just hanging by the caboose (wish I were a cartoonist and could draw this).
The bigger question is, can I vote for someone that I know has the blood of thousands, maybe millions, of innocent babies on his hands?
Again the quandary ... this has to be the most important election in America's history ... What am I to do?
The third party candidate, Ross Perot, pulled voters away from the Republican candidate, George H.W. Bush and we then had eight years of the Clinton Administration. There is no denying that this is a fact.
This election is so close that every vote counts ... to vote for any other candidate or to NOT vote is to put Obama once again in the Oval Office.
America needs more time ... more time for what? More time for lost souls to repent. That time will certainly be cut short if Obama is re-elected. We will no longer enjoy the freedom of our religion or anything else in this country. I believe this with all of my heart.
What to do? I am praying ... LORD, please help me.

The RNC Power Grab: Updated
Last Week, we gave you an update about the RNC's powergrab - the attempt to disenfranchise grassroots support from having a substantial voice in the Party. But there's more than meets the eye: This article has been updated to add a shocking and disappointing turn of events.
When it came time for delegates to voice their disapproval of the new rules, many noticed that the chorus of "nay" votes was equally as strong as the "ayes," yet the passage was inexcplicably gaveled down.
Here's the rub: The approval of the rule was pre-scripted into the teleprompter. Check out the video for yourself in Dean's article. Read More
Romney's "RNC Power Grab": What Really Happened
By Dean Clancy on August 29, 2012
The Romney campaign and Republican party leaders have pulled off an audacious coup that could greatly reduce the influence of grassroots conservatives and libertarians within the party in 2016 and beyond.
Yesterday, the Republican National Committee in Tampa adopted some changes to the rules of the national Republican Party that shift power from the state parties and the grassroots to the RNC and the GOP presidential nominee. Former Governor John Sununu of New Hampshire touted the new rules as providing “a strong governing framework” for the party over the next four years. But in fact the new rules should be very troubling and disappointing to conservative grassroots activists, because they move the national Republican Party away from being a party that is decentralized and bottom-up toward becoming one that is centralized and top-down.
The Romney rules effectively disenfranchise grassroots delegates, and will thus tend to weaken and splinter the party over time. They specifically represent a blow to the Tea Party and the Ron Paul insurgency -- movements that have sprung up precisely because Washington insiders (of both parties) have abandoned the traditional bedrock principles of the Republican party, namely, economic freedom, fiscal common sense, and smaller, constitutionally limited government. Indeed, these vibrant new movements (which have attracted many young people, politically active citizens, and non-Republicans) represent what could fairly be characterized as "the Republican wing of the Republican party." They want a real voice in the Grand Old Party. They've played by the rules. But the power brokers have now changed the rules, in order to shut them out. This unexpected hostility forces grassroots conservatives to reconsider their future within the GOP.
Party sage and long-time RNC member (and conservative activist) Morton Blackwell led a last-minute effort to stop the changes -- an effort FreedomWorks strongly supported, together with such prominent conservatives as Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and Phyllis Schlafly. RNC for Life jumped into the fray, concerned to protect the grassroots' ability to have a voice in writing the Republican platform. Meanwhile, in the blogosphere, Michelle Malkin, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, and others helped sound the alarm.
But alas, the Romney camp and RNC insiders won the day, successfully imposing their will with the help of their control of the gavels, superior knowledge of the process, and perhaps some dirty tricks. The conservative “rebels” won the moral victory, however, taking their fight to the Rules Committee and the full Convention floor and arguably winning the voice vote there to stop the rules, only to be gaveled down by Speaker John Boehner [view video from 1:08 minutes].

Socialism either by the Demonacrats or a Progressive Socialist like Mitt Romney is still Socialism, Choose your poison!.
As for me My vote will not be for Obama or Romney
Lonny, I apoligize for you being stuck on a GOP talking point, sucks to be you, my vote is not for Obama or Romney no matter how you try and twist it. Besides who determines who is "Primary Opposition", any candidate running against Obama is in opposition to Obama. Just another one of those Globally Operated Policymakers (GOP) talking points and more evidence of the strong hold the GOP has on you. Once again I'll ask how it feels to be a slave to a political party, As a GOP supporter, does that make you a Globalist Owned Puppet ???
Comment by Lonnie William Lynch on September 9, 2012 at 11:42am Bob you go ahead and vote for whom ever you choose, that is your right but it still changes nothing.. If you vote for anyone besides the primary opposition to Obama then you will be just as good as voting for Obama because the person that you vote for surely cannot win !! Your choice Bob, simple as that !!
Lonny, I am not voting for Obama !!!
I am casting my vote for Virgil Goode of The Constitution Party.
And I do no care what any talking hat loyalist of the Traitorist GOP says contrary.
It is my civic duty to vote and the box I check is for the person whose name appears next to that box, and nobody else. I will not vote for "lesser of two evils" as evil has no variance, Under the current two party system this nation is headed to socialism either by the hand of the Demonacrats, or, by Progressive Socialist's like Mitt Romney. The Globally Operated Policymakers (GOP) has Hijacked the Grass Roots Conservitive Republican Party and many times over the last couple of years has made that point blatently clear, and they could not have shouted it any louder than they did at the GOP RINO convention 2 weeks ago. No, I will not fall for the talking points of the power hungry GOP RINO's that are afraid of losing the power and the grip they hold on the Conservitive Tea Party. If you choose to fall for the false misleading line of " a vote for anybody except the GOP candidate is a wasted vote, or a vote for the more evil candidate that is on you entirely as this country decays more and more. Just look what "Voting for the lesser of two evils" has done to America over the last 30 years.
If you buy the rhetoric put out by the GOP RINO's that again is on you, you shouldnt push it on others, strong arm tactics or claiming that someone is voting for a candidate other than who that person is voting in a lame attempt to get support for one candidate over another like these GOP talking points is no different that those used by the Black Panthers. I would have to say you are already enslaved to the GOP and its parent the New World Order. So I have to ask, whats it like to be in bondage and a slave to a politiical Party???.
It is a shame Mother Liberty is dieing and most Grass Roots Conservitives do not have the courage or the back bone to step out side of the Two Party Box and take a stand for FREEDOM!!!. Countries around the world are seeing what is happening here in America, and we are the laughing stock because "We the People" are losing our Liberty and Freedoms afforded U.S. in the Declaration and the Constitution with out even firing a shot or doing anything in protest. Our founders have turned over in their graves in disgust so many times over the last century that they have worn out the bottom of their coffins.
Comment by Lonnie William Lynch on September 8, 2012 at 1:34pm Bob why don't you just go ahead and say that you are voting for Obama !!! It is clear to me that you are the man for him !!!
Carolyn said "because we do have a man running on our side, the conservative side, who once did support abortion....."
He once supported Abortion???
How about during this campaign, when he not only attended but accepted the proceed of a $50,000.00 a plate CAmpaign FundRaiser put on by the manufacturer of the "morning After" Abortion Pill. or Immediately following Rep. Akins comment about Legitimate Rape when Romney and his Campaign not only urged Rep. Akin to drop out of the race, but also said that he supports Abortion as being the mothers choice. "My position has been clear throughout this campaign," Romney said. "I'm in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother." See: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57501172/romney-my-views-on-a...
And he still defends every aspect of RomneyCare including Birth Control, Abortion and RomneyCares association with Planned Parenthood. See:

There are people by the droves waking up to the truth of the deception and evilness of the GOP and how it has hijacked the Republican Party and more and more Conservitives are looking at Third parties. To "vote for the lesser of two evils" you reap what you sow. No good can ever come from voting for evil. The last 30 years can atest to this in America, as each election cycle has gotten worse than the one before it.
Voting for a Third Party candiate is a vote for Obama, or is a wasted vote is a big talking point of the Global Operative Party(GOP) to keep the Grass Roots Conservitive Tea Party Movement Subservient to the GOP, yet as the recent GOP Convention went, the GOP drew yet another broad line in the sand to distance them selves from and at the same time quench the Brush fires within the Patriots of the Tea Party. And now more than ever, The GOP has and is losing support like crazy for its Establishment candidate in Mitt Romney, and the GOP is afraid of losing its control over the Conservitive Movement. We keep hearing that is not the time for a third party or there is not enough time to establish a viable third party.YES THERE IS, it just takes the courage of "We the People" to do what is right and vote Principle over Party and send a loud and clear message to the establishment that the Government is run by "We the People and we are not going to settle for Establishment Candidates being shoved down our throats. The GOP is starting law suit after law suit in the various states to keep third parties off the ballot because they see the threat of loss of power and control by a third Party take over.
Dr. Alan Keyes on his website http://loyaltoliberty.com/ has been blogging about this, with articles like:
- In 2012, cast a vote that represents YOU
- What’s wrong with Rove’s treacherous ‘be silent on socialism’ Romney/Ryan strategy against Obama
- Why America’s Elitists reject the Founding commitment to constitutional self-government
- With their votes Conservatives can issue a Declaration of Political Independence
- JUST VOTE NO to the whole elitist political scam
- In CBS interview, Romney abandons the Party of Lincoln
"We the People" need to vote our hearts and consciences and not along the traditional party lines that have all but totally destroyed this country. And most of all PUT OUR TRUST BACK IN GOD AND NOT IN CORRUPT POLITICIANS, It was God who blessed our founders who put all of their trust and faith in him with this nation, the greatest peice of Real Estate on Gods green creation, and it was God who protected this nations first patriots as we gained our Independence from England.
Undoubtedly we have come to the most important election cycle in our natons history, and we all need to step out of the our comfort zones and pray and let God lead us on November 6th 2012 our Freedom and Liberty is hanging on it, and voting for evil (There is no such thing as"The lesser of two evils" evil is evil and knows no variance) is not going to retain the dreams of our founders of a free and independent nation. VOTE FOR BRINGING GOD BACK INTO AMERICA!!!
Comment by Allen Godin on September 6, 2012 at 7:11pm Katie,
Even Ronald Reagan wasn't Ronald Reagan. He started off as a Democrat and a Union leader then he saw the error of his ways. He told us that he hadn't left the Democrat Party, they had left him. The fact is he saw the truth.
I'm not saying that Mitt Romney has seen the truth, but I do think he understands what's at stake in America and that's why he chose Paul Ryan as his running mate. There are more people who have seen the struggle that can be avoided if they keep the pressure on Mitt Romney. Rick Santorum, Fred Thompson, Sarah Palin and some of the TEA Party faithful in the House and Senate like Rep. Allen West will hold Mitt to his word or unleash the fury of the people on him.
We shouldn't expect, or allow, the old way of doing things from here on, and if we start the campaign of truth that must be fought, and put as many faithful Constitutionalist Americans in all the political offices from Dog Catcher to our Governors, and especially our United States Senators and Representatives we will prevail, but we must fight and fight hard for those good people to win and to survive in the hostile environment of Washington D.C.
Speaker Boehner should be our example of what not to do from now on. He must be defeated if we make TEA Party gains in the House and someone like Allen West made Speaker of the house. We must stop the compromises, when all Republicans can do is hand over the keys and give in.
After a very heavy explanation of the financial difficulties we find ourselves in Glenn Beck said that he was still willing to bet on the American People. I'm betting he didn't mean the illegals, the Occupiers, or the real racists. I guarantee that we wasn't talking about Muslims. Can we start to identify our domestic enemies now? So if there are still enough Constitutional Americans left to give one man with diverse experience hope, I think we can pull together to make things happen.
I see the current commercial with Impeached former President Clinton saying that Republicans made the mess that lead to our current economy and I am reminded that they have nothing but lies to run on. Can we get Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to tell the truth? If so, this election is in the bag and Obama will be served his pink slip in November. (I'll even accept an ad from a Tea Party Super PAC.)

I have been going through the same thing, but after much prayer and daily talking with the Lord, I have thought about a lot of things. God has given us the free will to choose and as I realized that free will to choose applies in every aspect of our life, what we think, what we do, where we live, what we eat, and on and on. At first, when I was thinking about just not voting, I would tell my friends, well, I do have that choice. Yes. God does give us that choice. But go one step further, I have decided I will vote, but Lord, the candidates........Yes, my child, but do you think I want you to vote for someone who chooses to kill my children even after an abortion has failed? I immediately knew that my not voting would be doing just that. So I made my choice. And I tell the Lord daily, that I am so glad He is in charge. When we get to that point of perfect faith, and are assured that whatever happens, He has already been thru it and will be there to get us through it......good or bad! There is some peace.
I am sure you will make the right choice. However, your comments about the who makes up the convention are incorrect at least in the way my state works. Caucuses were held in every county by leg district and in each precinct, (depending on population), a number of delegates were elected by the people attending the caucus from that precinct to represent them at the county convention. The same thing took place at the county convention and then the state convention. By the time the state elects delegates to the national convention, the group of potential nominees to be delegates is pretty watered down. Nobody at the caucus level may even bring in campaign material or anything else, and the agenda is set which each precinct must follow. Also, each precinct may suggest as a group certain platform items each would like to see adopted by the state and then taken to the national convention.
The Ron Paul people do attend caucuses in do try to elect the delegates at each level, but again, they, too, get watered down quite a bit by the time the process gets to the state convention. I don't really understand the undercurrent of something being unfair or unrepresented. Marco Rubio was swept in on the Tea Party vote and was a speaker at the National Convention. Because the "Tea Party" isn't a literal organization, it's difficult for the idea to be represented any other way except to vote for people with like beliefs who then speak accordingly.
