The Next Money Grab

The United States of America is in a dire situation. Our country has a national debt of almost $16.6 Trillion. Each and every citizen owes a debt of $52,582, or $146,611 per taxpayer. Our country’s debt held by foreign nations is $5.59 Trillion. The progressives, who have an aversion to spending cuts, are crying to close tax “loopholes” (meaning legal deductions) and to make steeper tax increases to bring in more tax income. The minions of the administration are looking everywhere for money they can steal.

One of those minions, Richard Cordray, is the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I might add that this is one of those recess appointments the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional and why he still is in that position, I don’t understand, but I digress. Cordray has come up with an idea for a service that, supposedly will help the government and the consumer, us. he has come to the realization that the retirement accounts of the consumer are being jeopardized by evil brokers’ manipulations. His solution is for the government, by way of his bureau, to “manage” those accounts, therefore safeguarding the consumer. After all, the consumer can’t be trusted to manage their own accounts.

I have a retirement account, as do millions of other people. I operate on a budget, pay my bills and live within my means. This financial plan has allowed for funding my retirement account. Now, this administration wants to “protect” my investment by taking my account out of the hands of qualified advisors of my choosing so they can manage it themselves. Forgive me if this doesn’t make me feel any safer. This seems to me to be a lot like searching out the closest crack-head and asking him to take care of my money. No matter how much money I had, I’m sure it would be gone within a day.

I would be very hard-pressed to name a program successfully managed by the government. Social Security was set up as a retirement fund that the government managed. I knew that Social Security wouldn’t allow me the freedom I wanted, that’s why I started my own account. The government has been siphoning funds out of Social Security for years to pay for other mismanaged projects. This administration can’t even manage a budget over the last four years, much less come in without a trillion-dollar plus deficit annually over that same period of time.

Cordray’s scheme is actually nothing more than a money grab to further fund their obscene spending. They have realized that the American consumer has $5.5 trillion in retirement accounts and they want to steal that money to put in government coffers to continue their aid to those hooked on the government dole. How dare the American consumer think of himself before thinking of the government and its idea of the common good.

Well one of them got some information from some place saying just what I have been telling tyhem.

Well you should have seen the excitement and panic that set in on these people, all came to me and said if I were to get any other information to bring it to their attention. I simply told them all to get informed on their own and gave them the direction where to find out what is happening in this country. It is not going to be brodcast on dancing with the stars or keeping up with the Kardationacians. This is what is wrong, people are in a bubble. Don't bother me I am in my bubble and can't be harmed here. Their bubbles just burst.

Or be in their face with appointments. They ignore our petitions, turn off the phone lines. letters and emails just return form letters. For four years no action. Just sitting home complaining is getting very old. sitting in meetings is local and that is good. Going to coffees and townhall meetings is a little more effective, but it is not total attention. Went to a coffee with my Representative on Thursday, discussed healthy forest at that time , and followed up in his local office yesterday, and he was in committee with it, This administration is doing so much in stealth mode, that the congress does not know what is happening , example our security on the southern border is shutting down the tars with a executive order when iran is installing missle launch pads in venzuella. We need to inform the lowest informed voters in the united States, OUR CONGRESS.

I as most of you, have spent the last couple of years writing to blogs and contributing my verbal two cents worth,attended meetings galore regarding Agenda 21, met with tons of like minded people regarding how and why this Country has got to this point of economic and moral deprivation, went to Conservative rallies all around the Country and even had billboards erected to somehow spread the message of our resistance and disgust. You know what, I look down at my shoes and I haven't moved one inch. Therefore, let me say this. You've detected lately in PAN, and I say this with 100% of my support, that Telephone Calls,Fax's, Monetary Contributions, etc. to our Representative Politicians has done absolutely nothing to stem the tide. When I plodded to the Computer this A.M. and see that the illustrious Department of Homeland Security is releasing thousands of illegal immigrants under the WISE ONES order of course from jail to prove his point off the many ill results of sequestration, which he in fact initiated, but continues to openly lie about, for me that is the last,last straw. Rather than pontificate in my present mood, I would direct you to a response contributed by one of our Patriot Action Brothers John B. Frederick. I would ask that you review it thoroughly and repeatedly. For some, portions of the message may be too harsh for their peaceful souls, but I would caution you this. Mr. Frederick's observations are dead on, as to where we are at in this Country and have been for quite some time. Perhaps erroneously, I have always considered myself a halfway reasonable person, although some would disagree. As a Marine, a U.S. Citizen, Former Corporate Security Mgr. of a Fortune 500 Company, some fragment of discipline and reasonable thought must have surfaced somewhere along the line or I wouldn't have lasted this long. Taking that into consideration, motivates me to once more declare. Read and heed Mr. Frederick's offering. What are you willing to personally sacrifice to turn this thing around. As I have stated many times in the past in some of my own tortured prose to this site. We are way late in acting in our own behalf and that of our children. John B. Frederick is RIGHT! ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

I started closing my IRA 1 year ago, paying for a house so that will be paid off, preparing for the collapse of the dollar, storing up for the collapse.

If you think the Go'v't is going to give you something fore you IRA,401, thry this good luck you'll get a voucher that will be useless.

Greives on February 27, 2013 at 10:20am: It is time to get our government back and put in people that have actually worked for a living - not the silver spoon crowd, the lawyers, the union backers, etc. But actual people that have a job! We have to balance our budgets and live within our means. Maybe that would be a start. Then we need to let the states pay for their own delegats. If the states want to pay retirement and healthcare, that is the state's business. If the federal government is paying for all the goodies, it is like letting the fox guard the chicken coop. And what money the feds are holding for themselves in said retirement and healthcare is dumped back into the general funds or from wherever they were heisted to begin with.

I feel it is time to have meetings with our congressmen, record the meeting in way they can not ignore. If each congressmen has his constituents ask for meeting in Washington. in their office, with five people in each meeting16 meeting with 535 congressmen detailing the issues, would be 80 constituents per congressman, with a total of 9160 meetings and hours of news, recorded. a total of 46,800 people in the congressional offices. THEY WOULD REMEMBER.
