Standing against big government and for the people!
Wow...read this one! Then check out the suggested web sites!!! Many of the emails that I have sent or forwarded that had any anti-Obama information in it were negated by Snopes. I thought that was odd. Check this out. For some time we’ve seen reports that Elaina Kagan was Obama’s attorney fighting those pesky "he isn’t a citizen" law suits. Lawsuits that Snopes says don’t exist or at least that Kagan didn’t represent Mr. Obama in those suits. Guess what ... they lied! She did represent Obama. Snopes, Soros and the Supreme Court's Kagan. Well now I guess the time has come to check out Snopes! Ya'll don't suppose it might not be a good time to take a second look at some of the stuff that got kicked in the ditch by Snopes, do ya? We've known that it was owned by a lefty couple but hadn't known it to be financed by Soros! Snopes is heavily financed by George Soros, a big time supporter of Obama! In our search for the truth department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions. Read More I went to Snopes to check something about the dockets of the new Supreme Court Justice. Elena Kagan, who Obama appointed, and Snopes said the email was false and there were no such dockets. So I Googled the Supreme Court, typed in Obama-Kagan, and guess what? Yep, you got it; Snopes lied! Every one of those dockets are there. Referencing the article about Elana Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Courts website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to. I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking. Thank You. I hope you will be much more truthful in the future, but I doubt it. That being said, I'll bet you didn't know this: Kagan was representing Obama in ALL the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them. Folks, this is really ugly. Chicago Politics and the beat goes on and on and on. Once again the US Senate sold us out! Now we know why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court. Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone who really has no true right to even be there. Here are some websites of the Supreme Court Docket: You can look up some of these hearings and guess what? Elana Kagan is the attorney representing Obama! Check out these examples:

Comment by Carol Koenigsknecht on March 19, 2013 at 9:23am Frankmusic, your comments just seem to sum everything up for me as far as what is REALLY wrong with this country...the divisiveness between left and right, the flame of which is fanned ever higher by the media every single day. What I find so funny is that so many people still can't see this, still can't see how much all of us Americans have in common with each other. They believe the hype on all sides of the political spectrum, the fear of each other. How anyone can really imagine that any of us are 'enemies' and need to be 'victorious' over each other, and that this kind of 'fighting against' is going to actually win anything for anyone is beyond me.
Everything you stated could have been, and has been stated in exactly the same way by your perceived 'enemies' on the left. Both sides are saying the same thing about each other, demonizing each other, and getting absolutely nowhere as far as truly fixing anything in this country. I actually just shared your post (without naming you, of course) on Facebook as a little experiment in perception. Here is what I wrote:
Comment by Frankmusic on March 15, 2013 at 12:06am Always be extremely cautious and selective with all of your news sources. The traditional media outlets can no longer be trusted to deliver the truth. Their Liberal ideology must trump everything. It's their religion, folks.
With that said;
In these times, one needs to keep an open mind, remember that opinions are not fact and automatically verify everything. Our counterparts on the left enjoy starting smear/fear rumors that seem to evolve into legend and are then accepted as truth. They just can't help themselves. You see after all, they unfortunately are born with the Kool-Aide already running through their veins.
Comment by Carol Koenigsknecht on March 8, 2013 at 7:55am I agree, Katie, we all do need to do our own research and fact-checking instead of solely relying on fact-checking sites. I think several of the fact-checking sites are pretty reliable, and I don't think that they are all financed by people trying to get their own agenda across instead of the truth, but I'm sure there are some like this. I just think that some of these sites are run by people who truly love research and fact checking, and they aren't really money-motivated...not everyone is, you know.
Truth is slippery, especially when applied to politics. People tend to choose the facts that support what they already believe to be true. If anyone really read the info I posted from both Truth or Fiction and Snopes, instead of dismissing both as untruthful, they'd see that the info explains the documents more clearly and what they actually mean. But I'm not going to rehash info I already posted.
Many of us, whether we lean left or right, are trying to work together to come up with solutions for this country that we can all live with. We deeply care about the direction our country has taken with corporate and super rich interests affecting how OUR government representatives vote and the laws they create...and they are not serving the interests of the general population for quite a while now.
But this takes working together to solve, not being at each other's throats because of the fear that we are fed from these corporate, super rich, and media. Working against either the left or the right is not in ANY of our best interests. Working to understand each other and where we're coming from, what we are concerned about, and finding mature and positive ways to solve our differences is where we will all see a better and stronger USA.
Being fearful of the left and their supposed 'agenda' does nothing to further the cause of a UNITED states, and instead keeps us all that much more in the dark.People on the left feel the same way about people on the right. I have friends and family all over the political spectrum and I understand so much more about all of them because I LISTEN to what they have to express instead of trying to get my own points across. Not one of them has any kind of agenda to keep this country spiraling downward, just deep concerns about what has been happening and the direction we are all taking.
I refuse to vote either Republican or Democrat for the rest of my life as these two parties are responsible for dividing us more than anything else that is happening. I believe we all have much more in common than we are led to believe and I do think that we have the ability to work together for common goals.
Anyway, Katie, thank you so much for your thoughtful reply, and yes, let's keep asking questions!!!

Carol,
I think seeing is believing and now I have to question even Truth or Fiction. The old saying "a picture speaks louder than words" is evidenced by the documents that Jake presented.
Whether or not Soros is involved behind Snopes is not even the issue in my mind. The facts still remain that if Snopes lied about Elena Kagan's connections, would they be telling the truth about their connections with Soros?
Just asking questions, that's what we should all do. The truth is this ... it takes a lot of time and money to do research to track down all the "myths" or "facts". Where does the financing for these projects come from? Once again it goes back to the old adage "follow the money."
Instead of referring to other "myth buster" sites, perhaps we all need to do more digging and see what turns up ... follow the money! We've already proven the lies as far as Kagan was concerned.
Comment by Carol Koenigsknecht on February 27, 2013 at 1:43am The Truth or Fiction fact checking site was one recommended by others, below, as a much more 'factual' site than Snopes. I just found it ironic that people slamming Snopes, and recommending TruthorFiction instead don't seem to realize that TruthorFiction debunked Snopes as having a liberal agenda, being connected to Soros, etc.
And it makes no difference to me if you attack me personally, instead of offering any intelligent, factual debate. I'm just presenting the truth as I see it, as everyone else here is doing. I realize that some folks have trouble admitting they were wrong about something.
Comment by William Palmer on February 26, 2013 at 6:03pm Gee Whiz, I guess you are right since another website says it isn't so. I guess I'll be gullible and grovel about how wrong I was. Give me a break. You remind me of that girl on the Allstate commercial waiting for her French model date.
Comment by Carol Koenigsknecht on February 26, 2013 at 4:32am All of this is false. Check out what the TruthorFiction site had to say on this subject of Snopes: http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/s/snopes.htm#.USyAdaJBTLJ
I also contacted Snopes directly for comment, and here are some links from them, further debunking the 'debunkers':
http://www.snopes.com/info/notes/kagan.asp
http://www.snopes.com/info/faq.asp#sponsor

Just wanted everyone to know that my husband, Jake, actually did the research in looking up the pictures of the court documents contained in this blog to see if the email we had received was "FACT" or "FICTION". So, is SNOPES telling us all the truth, I think NOT!
Comment by Angela DeFranco on February 21, 2013 at 11:02am I stopped referring to Snopes long ago when I heard it was controlled by a couple. Then I learned Soros was involved. I refer to www.truthorfiction.com for verification of an e-mail.
Comment by American First on February 21, 2013 at 7:25am Noooooooo, Snopes doesn't support BHO, Noooooooo, not much! If they can't counter something, they just "can't find a reference".
