Ukraine  Ukraine said it "suspected" Russia of conducting an airstrike in the eastern Ukraine town of Snizhne. Separatists accused the Ukrainian military of conducting the attack. Ukrainian Deputy General Prosecutor Anatoliy Matios said his government will prove "according to international standards that a neighboring state used military equipment and ammunition."
Comment: The US imposed harsher sanctions on Russia today because of its continuing support for the separatists. Open source information provides little insight about the nature and extent of Russian aid. Kyiv regime authorities say Russia is sending in commandos as well as armored vehicles and military supplies. At least some of that must be accurate for the US to take the action it took today.  -NightWatch

This would be World War Three in the media and in Congress if it happened during the Bush administration. Rightly so. When the Bush administration refused to release information about Vice President Dick Cheney’s energy task force, the response was enormous and the administration was eventually compelled to back down on some of its lack of transparency. Isn’t this at least as big of an issue as an energy policy working group? Where is the outrage? Where is the media uproar? Where is the coverage? I know the Radio Television Digital News Association has spoken out on the subject and that the National Press Foundation has generally decried the nObama White House’s lack of openness, but this should be the moment when our profession pushes back.” – Bret Baier  -Fox News

O’Malley wants migrant kids to stay, but not in Maryland -   2016 Democratic presidential hopeful Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley recently declared his opposition to more rapid deportations for unaccompanied minors streaming across the southern border, even as he also balked at administration plans to house the immigrants in Maryland. WaPo has details.
[The Hill: “Rep. Lee Terry (R-Neb.) has introduced a bill that would require the nObama administration to report on the number of unaccompanied immigrant children in the U.S. and how many are showing up for hearings. …Terry said the issue came to his attention when his staff was told during a briefing with DHS that about 200 minors from Central America were transferred to Nebraska. However, DHS could not state the whereabouts of the children.”]  -Fox News

This isn’t theater. This is a problem. I’m not interested in photo   ops’    – This afternoon, President nObama will take the White House press corps to a construction site on Interstate 495 in Delaware to again call for new highway funding. While he focused his remarks at a similar event Tuesday on attacking Republican intransigence, the House-passed highway bill now sits on Senate Majority Leader dinky Harry Reid’s desk.

Next week, he’s flying to the west coast for another fundraiser with the Hollywood glitterati. When nObama was in Denver last week, he attended no less than four cash-gathering events in the space of 24 hours.”

Death by a Thousand Nickel and Dime Cuts
In his televised address to Congress in 2009, President nObama looked Americans in the eyes and vowed that the Affordable Care Act would not add “one dime” to the federal deficit...saying if it did so “either now or in the future,” he would not sign it. Citing skyrocketing healthcare costs as a liability to Medicare and Medicaid’s sustainability, the President said, “Put simply, our healthcare problem is our deficit problem.” Five years later we’ve only regressed. The Congressional Budget Office released a report on Tuesday, showing the new healthcare law will only exacerbate the deficit, which is barreling toward historic World War II heights. To recoin the President’s remark, our healthcare problem – nObamacare – is now our deficit problem. “The CBO report seems to take the side of Republicans by saying healthcare costs will continue to rise. It says that increase, combined with new federal subsidies for healthcare under nObamacare, will put new financial burdens on the government that will lead to more debt. This sobering, unsettling path is not the bag of goods America was sold in 2009. Time has shown that Representative Joe Wilson’s spontaneous “You lie” exclamation has more truth than President nObama’s healthcare promises to the nation.    http://www.teapartypatriots.org/all-issues/news/death-by-a-thousand-nickel-and-dime-cuts/

Straw Man on the Border: Democrats Shame Concerned Citizens
The surge of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border has become the prominent issue in America...Thousands of children and adults are being resettled to facilities throughout the nation until their case is reviewed, or they are reunited with a family member. Communities are now being forced to absorb a massive influx of unanticipated, destitute people. Congressional Democrats have wasted no time in vilifying Americans voicing concerns about the financial burdens and health risks 57,000 – and counting – illegals may impose. Name-calling of “nativists” and “isolationists,” has become the opening dialogue of Democrats to both liberal and conservative citizens worried about illegal immigration. Democrats’ straw man argument would have Americans believe pro-secure borders and pro-rule of law is equivalent to anti-immigration. However, Ly Lykou defies their logic. She came to this country 30 years ago from Asia, is an immigrant herself, yet she is troubled by what is transpiring. “We did it the right way. We waited in line. We had our lungs X-rayed. If they want to do it the right way, let’s do that, but I feel like this is being forced on us,” said Lykou who spoke out at an Escondido City Hall meeting. “This is not a temporary situation.”     http://www.teapartypatriots.org/all-issues/news/straw-man-on-the-border-democrats-shame-concerned-citizens/

IRS Still Can't Find Lerner's Hard Drive
The IRS can’t say with certainty what happened to the computer hard drive used by Lois Lerner, or exactly where it is now, but the agency has provided a federal judge sworn testimony indicating it was probably destroyed...That means it is doubtful the judge will let the conservative group True the Vote have an independent expert do a forensic examination of what happened to the hard drive. But the group’s lawyer, Cleta Mitchell, told WND it is still “is a big step in the right direction” because “we have more information today than Congress has gotten from the hearsay testimony of the IRS commissioner.”    http://www.wnd.com/2014/07/day-8-irs-still-cant-find-lerners-hard-drive/

In Historic Blow to Climate Hysteria, Australia Kills Carbon Tax
With final approval of the Senate on July 17, Australia officially became the first developed nation to repeal its deeply controversial tax on emissions of carbon dioxide, dealing a major setback to proponents of increasingly discredited man-made “global warming” theories...Climate realists worldwide celebrated the historic development, while enraged global-warming theorists furiously lashed out at Australian lawmakers. Analysts also noted that the repeal, shepherded through by conservative Prime Minister Tony Abbott, could be a foreshadowing of much bigger problems for the widely criticized United Nations anti-CO2 crusade. Of course, the new Australian leader actually rose to power in a landslide last year by promising the public that he would repeal the economy-crushing tax on CO2 emissions. Because his conservative-leaning Liberal Party does not control the Senate, however, the Australian prime minister relied on support of other parties to secure the historic 39 to 32 victory. The tax on CO2 emissions was originally adopted by the Labour Party-led government in 2011, which broke its promise not to impose it. After the scheme sparked soaring costs of living and record business failures, the Australian public turned overwhelmingly against it, with Abbott offering a “pledge in blood” to kill the tax. Those promises led his party to a massive victory in last year’s legislative elections. However, because the Senate was not under conservative control, two previous efforts since then to ax the tax had failed. On July 17, though, with support from three senators in businessman Clive Palmer’s party, Abbott succeeded in pushing the measure through following a successful vote in the House of Representatives last week.    http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/australia/item/18729-in-historic-blow-to-climate-hysteria-australia-kills-carbon-tax?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=8aeb5f5c56-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-8aeb5f5c56-289778381

Children Illegally Crossing the U.S. Border
Before Congress can reform policies that led to the current influx of unaccompanied alien children (UAC), they must understand how UAC are handled under existing law...recognize the role that anti-enforcement policies play in encouraging illegal immigration, and affirm the importance of both protecting the children and sending a clear message that U.S. immigration laws are being enforced. Congress ought to defund anti-enforcement policies such as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and expedite the return of UAC to their countries of origin. President Obama should use his authority to enforce the law, rather than deferring enforcement as he has done. These actions, together with stopping amnesty-centric policies and improving partner capacity in Latin America, can help the U.S. deal with the influx of unlawful immigrant children in a responsible manner.    http://thf_media.s3.amazonaws.com/2014/pdf/IB4248.pdf

 Gas Heat
As recently as six years ago, natural gas was a favored fuel of leading environmental groups. The fuel was seen as a marriage of enlightened capitalism and pragmatic progressivism, welcomed as a relatively low-impact alternative to America’s industrial and power-generating workhorse, coal...What is responsible for the turnaround? For one thing, advances in extraction technology made gas inexpensive and caused it to be used much more extensively. The ensuing swing against it has been spurred by a carefully coordinated outpouring of research, media, and advocacy grants by the Park Foundation, headquartered at the epicenter of one of the most promising shale gas regions in the U.S., and home to Cornell University, the academic base for the country’s most vehement anti-shale activists. For a relatively small investment, strategically distributed, the Park Foundation has derailed shale-gas development in methane-rich New York state, and put its imprint on public opinion and policy decisions around the country.    http://www.philanthropyroundtable.org/topic/excellence_in_philanthropy/gas_heat

Putin Poised to Retaliate Against nObama by Trashing Iran Deal
The escalating tensions between Washington and Moscow, brought to fever by the MH17 airliner disaster, are finally to the point where they threaten to spoil the number one item on President nObama’s foreign policy agenda...the nuclear talks with Iran. The man doing the threatening is Russian President Vladimir Putin. Earlier this week, Putin promised to retaliate against the United States for new sanctions targeting his friends and business associates, as well as large Russian defense, energy, and financial firms. On Thursday, Putin called President nObama to alert him a civilian jetliner had crashed over Eastern Ukraine, a tragedy the U.S. says was caused by a missile shot from a Russian-made SA-11 mobile surface to air missile system located in a separatist-held area. Putin’s next call was to none other than the President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani.    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/07/18/putin-set-to-retaliate-against-obama-by-trashing-iran-deal.html

Egypt: Islamic Terrorists Strike Western Egypt Military Border
It should be anticipated the Muslim Brotherhood will intensify calls for further attacks against Egyptian authorities - especially given the el-Sisi support for Israel’s efforts against Hamas...The Brotherhood and Hamas are ideological brethren. With Libya in a state of civil war and crisis, the Eastern Libya border to Egypt will be used by the severe Islamists as an incursion zone to attack.  Remember the most hated man in the region (by the terrorists) is not Benjamin Netanyahu, it is Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi .  President el-Sisi has deconstructed the terror networks, arrested the brotherhood members, and jailed the violent extremists.      http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014/07/19/breaking-report-egypt-islamic-terrorists-strike-western-egypt-military-border-checkpoint-15-egyptian-soldiers-killed/

Tea Party Lawsuit Against nObama’s IRS Moves Forward
On Thursday, the people of America earned a victory. Whether they know it or not, Americans of all political persuasions won a victory in the quest to remain a free nation...A federal judge, on Thursday, declared that a lawsuit against the IRS, brought by several Tea Party groups, was allowed to proceed. Judge Susan Dlott declined the government’s requests to dismiss the claims that the IRS had improperly targeted Tea Party and various conservative groups in a campaign of harassment that lasted for years. This will allow the lawsuit filed against the IRS to go forward and will allow for the Tea Party groups to uncover government documents that could not only lead to a bigger legal battle, but shine some light on the scandal that has shown the nObama administration to be an administration of political thugs.    http://www.tpnn.com/2014/07/18/victory-for-the-people-tea-party-lawsuit-against-obamas-irs-moves-forward-in-the-courts/

Students Shun Constitution, Declaration; Left Happy
A university student newspaper has editorialized against a required class teaching America's founding documents. That should make the left happy. It wants to erase those records from our minds...A July 8 editorial in the University of South Carolina's Daily Gamecock is critical of the "state law which requires students to learn about the U.S. founding documents, including the Constitution." "Most students don't need" the class, the Gamecock argues, adding that "it's almost insulting to require students to pay for a class" they took for free in high school. American leftists, who have taken nearly full control of education in America, must be ecstatic. These students are doing the job they've been toiling at for years. The left doesn't want Americans to be knowledgeable about the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. It wants them ignorant of the most important political documents ever produced.    http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/071714-709297-students-dont-want-to-learn-constitution-declaration.htm
Black Americans rebel against nObama --
 f i n a l l y
Erik Rush

There’s an anecdote I’ve shared previously: Shortly after Barack nObama was inaugurated in 2009, quite a few people asked me what I thought he would do for black Americans now that he’d attained the office of president of the United States.

To which I invariably answered: “Probably about as much as he did for blacks in Chicago – not a damned thing.”

In November of 2008, the black unemployment rate was 11.5 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics – but blacks, along with unwitting Americans at large, were still riding the high of having elected our first black president. Within a year and a half, however, black unemployment rose to 16.5 percent and hasn’t moved too far in either direction since.

In the inner cities, job participation among blacks since the ascendancy of Barack nObama has been even more dismal, with the unemployment rate for black men occasionally exceeding 50 percent over the past several years. High unemployment has exacerbated levels of crime and violence, and several cities with established black populations – now mostly unemployed – are suffering from unprecedented epidemics of violent crime.

Like Chicago, for example, where on July 11, residents from Chicago’s Southside held a protest in front of the Chicago Police Department decrying violence in their communities. The protest was reported by the Rebel Pundit website, which released a video that subsequently went viral. The Southside residents called for the resignation of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy for their failure to effectively address Chicago’s epidemic of violence.

As anyone who has viewed the video could see, however, the black Chicago residents largely identify President nObama as the name of their pain. “Barack will go down as the worst president ever elected,” one resident declared.

“Despite the strictest gun regulations in the country, Chicago’s murder rate of 15.65 per 100,000 people looks nothing like the nation’s 4.2, the Midwest’s 4.5 or Illinois’ 5.6. Up to 80 percent of Chicago’s murders and shootings are gang related, according to police.”

The Chicago event was catalyzed by President nObama’s handling of the current border crisis. In light of the White House and congressional Democrats courting illegal immigrants from south of the border and advocating for the swarms of minor migrants descending upon the border, while ignoring Chicago (where 120 people have been shot and at least 26 killed so far this July), this group of Southside residents apparently had seen enough.

These protesters weren’t a pack of urban Epsilons with an entitlement beef, either. These were organized, purposeful residents who had lost children and other loved ones due to the incomprehensible level of violence in Chicago.

It is no secret that blacks in Chicago have been disgusted with the president for some time, as well as nObama crony Emanuel and Chief McCarthy, but such phenomena are not reported in the establishment press, since such coverage would reflect poorly on nObama.

It may be little surprise as well that Chicago is not the only city in which blacks have gotten fed up. Recently, a black Houston-area resident, Bernadette Lancelin, was interviewed by the local Fox affiliate. What resulted was a rant that also went viral on YouTube, when Lancelin expressed her view of a tentative plan to utilize a closed middle school in her area as a detention center for unaccompanied minor illegal aliens.

As reported in WND, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is also in the throes of endemic unemployment and violent crime in black communities. Like Chicago, those suffering most under widespread societal dysfunction are blacks in the inner-city communities. And like Chicago, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and entrenched progressive politicians appear unconcerned. In 2012, the Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission (MHRC) reported that 93 percent of the known murder suspects were black, as were their victims.

And why shouldn’t blacks in cities plagued with inordinately high unemployment, poverty and violence be outraged that the White House wants to spend billions of dollars to feed and house thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children who have entered the United States illegally – particularly when it is no secret that the desired outcome will place these immigrants and their extended families in direct competition with blacks for jobs?

It bears mentioning (in a rather big way) that career civil rights activists – Revs. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other prominent melanin pimps – have had nothing whatsoever to say about the profound demoralization and mayhem currently manifesting in black communities. This is for the same reason the establishment press is ignoring these conditions; not only would it convict the administration, but it is, in fact, in keeping with its objectives.

So, what are the real sympathies of the nObama administration and Democratic power players toward their beleaguered black urban constituents? I would imagine it is something in the area of utter contempt. Think about it: Progressive-socialist Democratic politicians have been exploiting blacks for decades; certainly, having managed to bring them from a place of cultural viability to abject thralldom – with their willing participation, I might add – can’t have improved these elites’ opinions of blacks at large. As far as nObama and his cabal are concerned, well, blacks are just useful idiots in the true Leninist sense.

My question is what these suffering inner-city blacks across America would think – and do – if they knew that their suffering was by design. I suppose that ultimately using blacks’ outrage to foment violent urban uprisings may indeed be part of the plan, but this remains to be seen.

Speaking of designs: The bottom line here is that, like so many of the malevolent designs employed by the nObama administration, nothing is going to change until enough people – or enough of the right people – come to the conclusion that everything I’ve discussed here is just part of the process, and resolve to act decisively.

In fact, I can pretty much assure that unless and until this occurs, these and other circumstances will continue to get worse – all by design.
