Minimum Wage

Liberal policies are the reason wages are so low.

Example: if there were no

1) AFDC

2) WIC

3) FOOD STAMPS

4) HOUSING ASSISTANCE

5) MEDICAD

and any other assistance programs promoted by liberals, wages would be higher.

The natural forces of free market practices have been greatly influenced by liberal programs.

Businesses of all stripes feel it is not necessary for them to pay a livable wage, because they know there are programs funded by tax payers that will in fact subsidize the low wages they pay their work force.

In my city for example $23,000.00 per year is average pay, which is not a livable wage, therefore assistance would be needed if a person has even one child, and one would receive assistance.

Taxpayer money is used as opposed to the employer paying a higher wage, the employer can choose to keep cost low by using taxpayer subsidy of  his work force.

Wages in many occupations would be higher if assistance programs were not available.

Just as business and the Chamber of Commerce desire amnesty to have an ever increasing supply of low wage workers.

Businesses for decades have been taking advantage of every liberal policy that assists their workers while keeping their own cost artificially low.

Obamacare is another example of business offloading to the taxpayer.

"Rob B.,
You got that right!  In my long time in both Democratic and Republican politics, I found common sense was the commodity most missing, and I did not hesitate to say so, needless to say it made me many enemies, but I firmly believe that God's…"

Even though I was a lower elected Republican Official, I was always disturbed by the use of that  term for people that in my opinion were far from it.
As the late Congressman Clyde Doyle's personal delegate to the California Y…"
