Standing against big government and for the people!

GIVING THE PRESIDENT TOO MUCH DEFERENCE

Sen. Lindsey Graham epitomizes what is wrong with our government. On Fox News Sunday this morning Sen. Graham said that he might vote to ratify Chuck Hagel's nomination to be Secretary of State. One of the reasons he gave is that he gives "much deference" to the president.

Why does Sen. Graham give "much deference" to the president? Did the president nominate him? Elect him? No, he didn't. He can't. So, why would Sen. Graham give any amount of deference to the preident? Sen. Graham was elected by the people of his state. Why isn't Sen. Graham giving those people all of that deference?

I plan to call Sen. Graham's office tomorrow morning and ask that very question.

Sen. Graham's Washington phone # is 202-224-5972. I hope you will call and ask that question too.

I agree Independent. I have called and written McCain many times asking him to retire. He's way past his prime!

I have watched Sen. Graham for many years. During this last few weeks he has stood up and worked hard to make himself look like he is in the face of this President, taking a hard stand on the Benghazi issues, national defense, etc. Then he completely destroys his image by acquiescing and making the statement that his only reason for not voting for Hagel (an obvious dangerous choice for DOD) is to force the President to give up more information on Benghazi. Mr. Graham............what does that have to do with the face Hagel should not be allowed into the position of head of our Department of Defense?

The bottom line for me is my opinion that Graham is a career politician, often a chameleon like many of the others, and I put him into the same bucket as John McCain. Thats my opinion. Just review all of his positions on Amnesty for illegals over the last several years. McCain and Graham are two of the good old boy Republicans IMO.
