Does Romney Truly Embrace Tea Party Principles?

I preface my following statements regarding Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney with enthusiastically saying, “ABO, Anybody But Obama”. Any Republican is a thousand times better for America than Obama. Obama is an evil divisive man willing to sacrifice national black/white race relations to further his anti-America socialistic, some say communist, agenda. Gee Lloyd, how do you really feel?

Thus, if Romney wins the Republican nomination you will hear me singing his praises, “Mitt Romney he's our man. If Mitt can't do it no one can! GOOOOO ROMNEY!!!”

Now that I have that out of the way, here is what happened at our Tea Party Express V national bus tour rally in Romney country, Concord, NH.

Mitt Romney was the featured presidential candidate at that particular rally. The majority of the audience were Romney supporters evidenced by the sea of t-shirts bearing his name.

Our Tea Party Express team began the rally with our military tribute; an emotional favorite of tea party crowds nationwide. The Romney audience response was uncharacteristically subdued.

Participating on 5 previous tours, this tour marked tea party rally number 301 for me. My signature opening statement always garners a powerful emotional and loud response from audiences, “Hello my fellow PATRIOTS! I am NOT an African-American. I am Lloyd Marcus...AMERICANNNN!”

A few in the Romney audience cheered, but the majority smiled politely. Some even appeared to have a puzzled look on their faces. I was taken back a bit. I thought, “Is my fly down? What is wrong? Why are these folks so unresponsive?” Still, I am a professional and pressed forward singing my “American Tea Party Anthem”.

My “American Tea Party Anthem” speaks to Obama's failed stimulus and his despicable false charges of racism against the Tea Party. The lyrics of the song and my passionate performance is always a crowd-pleaser winning enthusiastic applause. The Romney audience smiled and offered polite applause.

Back on the Tea Party Express bus headed to our next rally in a different state, some on our team were baffled. Why was the response to our presentation at this tea party rally so uniquely lukewarm? Also, after Romney completed his stump speech, the majority of the crowd left in the middle of the tea party rally.

Then, it dawned on me, the majority of the audience were Romney supporters, not particularly tea party supporters.

Our in-your-face-Obama-must-go approach was probably uncomfortable for them.

Mary Kay Ash of Mary Kay Cosmetics fame said, “The speed of the leader is the speed of the gang”. I believe Romney supporter's lukewarm response to our presentation reflects his attitude regarding the tea party and our principles.

It confirms “to me” that Mitt Romney is an establishment moderate Republican; willing to date and even have a live in relationship with the Tea Party, but not committed enough to marry the Tea Party.

A friend said it is unfair to judge Romney by his fans. Keep in mind that I have attended 300 tea parties nationwide. Some audiences in small towns despite being extremely appreciative were subdued because they are not super expressive. But, the Romney audience was unique, as if we were not on the same page.

I thought about how gangsta rap concerts always attract potentially unruly violent audiences. My brother David loves country music. David and his girlfriend attended a huge country music concert at the Baltimore Civic Center. He was struck by the peaceful nature of the crowd. David said people were drinking and having a good time and yet he did not see one confrontation or arrest; quite a contrast from the typical news reports of violence after a major gangsta rap concert in the same venue. Without question, the headliner attracts a certain type of audience.

I have appeared on the program of several rallies with Sarah Palin. Every Palin audience has been upbeat and enthusiastically patriotic.

Please do not think I am picking on Romney. John McCain was a disaster. To select another moderate as our presidential nominee will insure the re-election of Obama; ending America as we know it. Regardless of how moderate/liberal our nominee, the liberal media will portray him/her as a far right nut cause. So, let's select a true conservative.

Still, I would work tirelessly to install Mitt Romney in the White House if it came down to Romney or Obama.

Rick Santorum has the experience and the voting record to prove his conservatism.  He is the most conservative person running in this election....just give him a look at www.ricksantorum.com.  As you all know the establishment is pushing Romney.  Rick led in many good things while he was in the house and Senate for 12 years.  fighting for balanced budgets, less spending, for traditional family values, believed we need to fix SS, strong supporter of our military, knows we must fix borders and not amnesty for illegals, Has a great plan for getting our manufacturing jobs back, supporter of our 2nd amendment rights, 8 years on the Armed Services Committee, so he does have that experience, which we really need at this time. I could go on and on however just go and check him out.  He is a very Godly, honest, family man.  Worked against Bill Clinton and does not back down on the things he believes.  As a conservative,,,,HE can beat OBAMA.    make sure to see the debate tonight on Bloomberg News,  if you can't catch it on TV, then go to Bloomberg News on the internet, also you can get it on your mobile phone....JUST Watch........important

Lloyd Marcus, always a winner.  I agree with him 100% I will support the selected Candidate, but we have to be careful we don't let the Media select for us.  I am behind Herman Cain.  I was in Business and know what he accomplished with Godfathers.  He was with Burger King as Regional Vice President and improved the Region ten fold.  Herman Cain is a Leader, he is always in front calling for everyone to "Follow Me".  We have had enough of the "go do" and we really do not want or need another Moderate in the Whitehouse.   So for me I will support Herman Cain and if he does not win the primary I will put the same effort and support behind the Candidate selected.

No true Conservative thinks Romney, Perry, Christy or Huntsman share our views.  Bachman, Santorum and even Palen are too 'politically' oriented.  Ron Paul?  Well, you know, He's Ron Paul.  So, for my tastes, Herman Cain fits the bill.  He is NOT a politition.  He is REAL.  That job at the Fed was not ideological, in my opinion.  It was just another great challenge.  He has a normal lifetime of amazing achievement.  Life gave him the kind of poverty that used to be what all poverty was.  You just didn't have any money.  So, you took yourself by the bootstraps, worked as many low paying jobs as you could live through, and you began to have a little money.  Soon, by diligence and sweat,  you had more money and fewer jobs.  You exercised frugality and waited for the good stuff, like a TV, nice furniture, newer model cars, stuff like that, and saved money.  Finally, you had entered the 'middle' class.  Many moved on to the 'upper' class.  Always talking about money here, not ethnicity.  Then came 'the great society'.  This introduced a different kind of  'poverty'.  This is the kind of poverty which replaced the father in the home with the government.  It destroyed the basic cell of society-the family.  People in this kind of poverty were not socialized into the society of the 'middl'e class.  They were stuck in an unforgiving quagmire which gave them just enough to desire more, but never allowed for more.  No more possibilities, money, social standing, education or hope.  Just exactly as the Marxists planned.  We are now experiencing the end game.  If we are lucky enough to actually have a vote in 2012, I hope to vote for Normal, Real, Unpolitical Herman Cain.  And, AMEN to Will Rogers-a fellow Oklahoman.  With Patriot Love,  Ursula

George from Penn.  I just spent a day with Rick while campaigning, and he is the very best person we have running in this election cycle,  if we truly believe what we say we are looking for in a Presidential Candidate, then we must get behind Rick and support him both financially and in any other way we can.  He is truly a conservative and a Godly moral man, he knows what must be done and is firmly convinced to do what needs to be done to get our country back to where we need to be.  While we still have time and yes, if we can get a man of Rick's stature and then get control of the House and Senate we can save America from its Moral, Economic and Spiritual decay.  Thank you for your kind response and again, if any on wants to help Rick please go to www.ricksantorum.com and do whatever you can either with a donation or if you live in any of the early swing states you can volunteer.  especially if you can help before the first of the year.  I truly know that most of us have our own picks, so I am saying who you have to work or support financially, but I do believe this is the person we need at this time.  Thanks to all of you for whatever you do.

Because I truly believe that the Green movement is a Marxist movement in disguise... and the EPA is out of control, not to mention the Dept. of Energy, and about two dozen other government agencies---I do not want anyone moving into the WH after Obama who is not hell bent & determined to eliminate all this "Green" stuff, or at least MOST of it.  The EPA has shut down so many industries and they are still going strong.  We have over 800 pages of gov't regulations JUST FOR SIGNS!!  Has this nation gone insane?  We need some real common sense in DC and if we don't get it NEXT, we will have lost liberty and freedoms forever.  Marxists don't give power back to the people.  BO is a Marxist and let' not forget that he wanted to LOWER the standard of living in the US so other countries could catch up.  Too bad for Americans.  And take a real close look---he has done just that.  My electric is going up again!

Thank you Patsy for sharing your thoughts and impressions of Rick Santorum. I am from Penna. and I believe Rick would make an excellent President or Vice President. He was one of the most Pro-Life, Pro-Family Senators in Our state.  As bad as our economy is if we leave the destruction of the family as God instituted it, and the murder of babies continue, America will not survive.  The influence of Socialism in or schools and colleges and in our Government will destroy us from within.  I believe Rick is a Godly, Patriotic American who in combination with Newt Gingrich could revive our country both Economically and Morally.  Newt Gingrich is a very intelligent person and I believe he too is a Patriot.  He was instrumental in the past in leading America to financial stability and I believe along with a Conservative control of the House and Senate we can save America from the increasing Moral, Economic and Spiritual depravity we are now faced with.

I just met Rick Santorum on Thursday morn, heard a dynamic speech, he is truly a very good man.   You can also check that he has a very good conservative record and has worked for what we believe...I talked to him for a while and have decided to support him both physically and with money as I can afford....If any of you are interested, please go to www.ricksantorum.com and do whatever you can for him...As Carolyn said he loves God, family, the constitution and our  country.   I believe it is past time to get a truly moral Christian man as a president.  If we ever needed a honest, trustworthy man it is now,  or else we may be too late to save our country....Please check him out.  By the way if any of you are in Iowa, he will be there tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. Oct. 1, 2 and 3).....you can find his schedule for those dates if you search on Iowa Caucus and then follow the information and click on calendar of events, click and  check Rick's page, you can then pull up the places he will be.  I have also met with Herman Cain.  I like him very much, but believe we need Rick,  there is definitely a place for Herman,  he is a good and intelligent man and very likeable, has a positive attitude....

I have said in the past they are the only two that can beat Obama, and change the course we are in. the others may talk a good game just like Obama and will fold because of their greed.
