Was Chief Justice John Roberts Blackmailed To Support ObamaCare?

Many of us have questioned what causedRoberts to switch his vote on ObamaCare at the last minute, as repo..., and doing so, so late that the Conservative Justices were forced to rewrite their majority opinion to be minority dissent. These facts may answer that question.

In 2000 Justice Roberts and his wife Jane adopted two children. Initially it was apparent that the adoptions were "from a Latin American country", but over time it has become apparent that the adopted children were not Latin American, but were Irish. Why this matters will become evident.

In 2005 the NY Times began investigating Roberts life as a matter of his nomination to the Supreme Court by George Bush. The Times was shortly accused of trying to unseal the adoption papers and intending to violate the anonymity of the adoption process... however there is more to the story.

Drudge did an article in 2005

The NEW YORK TIMES is looking into the adoption records of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate the status of adoption records of Judge Roberts’ two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.

Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.

Both children were adopted from Latin America.

A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoption papers are part of the paper’s “standard background check.”

Bill Borders, NYT senior editor, explains: “Our reporters made initial inquiries about the adoptions, as they did about many other aspects of his background. They did so with great care, understanding the sensitivity of the issue.”

Were the Children Adopted from Ireland?

If these allegations prove to be true, Roberts could be kicked off of the Supreme Court and possibly the ruling on ObamaCare overturned.  However, this poses another dilemma...

This would leave another open seat on the Supreme Court and another Obama appointee.  Seems to me we're damned if we do ... we're damned if we don't ... we lose again either way!

Disappointment, loss of trust, the feelings of abandonment and disenfranchisement, are all to be expected when government abandons its duty to serve the people.  How we redirect these feelings will determine the ultimate outcome of our struggle to regain a sense of community and well being.  We must learn to direct our anger and frustration in ways that are productive not vengeful or reactionary.  That includes, the way we organize and participate in the patriot movement.

We must become smarter... controlling our responses and directing our anger in positive ways.  Join your local GOP committee or become active in the community service organizations... address the problems with government at both the local and national level.  Work to identify and promote qualified men and women to leadership positions... not all will seek such office on their own.  We must use our resources wisely supporting those efforts that are most likely to bring about REAL CHANGE for the better.

What we must not do is too ignore our situation or become so bitter and angry that we engage in reactionary activities that are not well organized and serve only to vent our anger and expend our energy and resources. That means we must ask what will those events I support actually do to bring about reform... how well organized and though out are they?

Marlene - Understand the feeling all too well, but, we always make it back to center; guess that counts more than anything else.

Honestly, I do not know how I missed it.  I usually pay attention.  Your last statement of annoyance and frustration demanding shutdown or explosion is something I can particularly identify with right now.

We  were the strongest country on the planet.  Our core values defined us as a country and a people.  Unfortunately, the people we chose to Lead instead Misled.  And, now we must redo what our Forefathers said we would have to do should we fail to be ever watchful.

Marlene - No, not necessarily "asleep at the wheel"; don't know about you, but no matter how many hours I spend at this computer, I simply cannot cover all the bases, so I do miss lots of things!   Any time spent away from home base sets me that much further back and in order to even begin to catch up, or clear my inbox, I have to delete a lot of things that look to be "duplications"; sadly, I have the "guilts" when I do that, but I still have a household that needs some "assistance" from me and that detracts me as well.  Other times, I get so annoyed and frustrated with what is going on, I have to shut everything down and just walk away- - otherwise, my head would explode!

There appear to be a few articles on the web.  The one I fist got was connected to the case where an Indian was attempting to have thrown out an adoption.  The Indian father's team wanted Roberts to recuse himself due to his being an adoptive parent.  The article stated all the info I cited.

I somehow missed it when the topic arose and you picked up on it back in Feb.  I must have been asleep at the wheel.

It would seem that pressure could be brought to bear on Roberts to name the blackmailer, if that is the case.  The blackmailer would be the perpetrator and would likely be prosecuted.  It would not necessarily follow that Roberts would resign as it could easily be the case that he was awaiting an arrest of the perp and perhaps at that point could revise his Supreme Court Decision on the 0bamacare case.  Tricky situation for sure, But, stuff happens.  And, blackmailers, particularly at that level, are deadly opponents.

Marlene -The Irish "law" I was aware of, as well as one of a similar nature, recently adopted in Russia.  It has also bee "speculated" that Justice Roberts and his wife adopted their two children from South America, "after" they had been "smuggled" there.  In my mind, I wonder IF the adoptive parents were "aware"?  If so, that is bad indeed; if not, is there any way for them to prove that, make public the findings and get rid of the "blackmailer(s)" by simply publishing the facts?

Comment by Marlene on October 23, 2013 at 5:23pm

The problem is that Ireland has a law that precludes adoption of Irish children to anyone other than people residing in Ireland for two (2) consecutive years prior to the adoption.  Circumventing the law by taking (trafficking) then to South America is clearly CIRCUMVENTING aka violating the laws of Ireland.  A supreme court justice has no business violating any laws.  Neither should he be vulnerable to BLACKMAIL.

Comment by Betty Merry on April 23, 2013 at 10:21pm

So does that mean that he violated "child trafficking" laws? Is that what he has to hide to get along with the progressives?

If one has the means and ability to adopt and care for a needy child, or children, please, tell me exactly what difference it makes "where" they come from!  It's sad that some countries are so "closed minded"!  As to "blackmail" -that IS a "distinct possibility".  Obama-soetoro's  "supporter/controllers", behind the invisible curtain, have very deep pockets and will buy, or bribe "anything" they want and they are NOT "America's friendlies"!

It is VERY true that our country cannot flourish if it continues to tolerate corruption. However, the public at large must become astute enough to actually recognize the said corruption that is happening right before their eyes. Whether the allegations are true or not, for now, Justice Roberts may have negatively altered our history forever.

One wonders why Americans have become so desensitized to the barrage of outrageous events that in the past, would have normally generated an old fashioned backlash or some sort of cry for justice. Surely the corrupt news media lies haven't helped to correct the daily events record that seem to be shaping this nation.

This dangerous apathy is killing this country. However erroneously, this corrupt media represents their barometer, while it really should be the other way around. The Preezy frequently appears in their face on TV claiming (dishonestly) that the American people are behind him and for those low information voters watching, they just simply accept it. He'll say it's time we protect our children from 'gun violence' and his solution is to go after the guns. They just accept it to be true and cheer him on. Not one ounce of common sense or rationale ever seems to enter their mindset. They just never question the Preezy's intentions. They accept it as a gesture caring for them. The mindless public segment still hasn't put 2 plus 2 together on their deductions in their paycheck. Recently, groups of employees were questioned about viewing their new payroll deductions and a majority that were polled immediately blamed their employer. How Sad.

Should the American people wake up before it's too late, we'll have a fighting chance. Does anyone see that happening anytime soon? I'm not so sure, since we're now facing ANOTHER 4 years of corruption and tyranny.
