Losing our liberty through Regulation, Taxation, and Gun Control

It's almost as if we are living in a dream world. We actually have UNITED STATES SENATORS and a PRESIDENT who think it is perfectly alright to circumvent the U.S. Constitution and limit our rights as they see fit!

This is very serious. All of the posturing to "fundamentally change America" is starting happening. The final straw, that which will put us at a point of no return, is losing our God given liberty to "keep and bear" arms.

AMENDMENT II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The Federal government has absolutely NO authority to place restrictions on the individual's right to keep and bear arms. What part of "...shall not be infringed..." don't they get?The individual states have some authority under each of their own constitutions, but a total ban on anyone's individual right is expressly forbidden under the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution doesn't say only the police or military, nor does it say only certain types of arms. It is intentionally broad and all encompassing because it was the founder's intent for the government to NOT be allowed to restrict our right at all!

Our Federal government has done many things that they are not authorized to do under their constitutional authority. In most cases they have gone unchallenged and have gotten away with their abuses. We can document the incremental loss of liberty to their progressive agenda for over 100 years.

At least, in the beginning, back in the early 1900's, the progressives were smart enough to actually push through constitutional amendments to support their goals. The 16th and 17th amendments are examples of how they insidiously were able to take control of our government and our lives through taxing income and taking away the STATE's authority to elect Senators.

The subsequent years of minor manipulations, creating dependency programs, buying off constituencies, infiltrating our education system and teaching a revisionist form of history have all led us to this point. Our nation is fiscally, and morally bankrupt.

We are long past the pandering arguments about the class warfare, taxing the rich, blaming racism, or demanding "social justice". We are on the brink of slipping into tyranny. Yes, tyranny; not a word that conjures up anything good, and one that the media and politicians will poo-poo away as nonsense. However, once we lose our rights to a Federal government that can dictate when, where, and how we can defend ourselves, can demand what percentage of our work they can confiscate because some bureaucrat says it's a "fair share", and those same bureaucrats can allocate our monies, as well as those future earnings of subsequent generations, for their own self interests, what else are we; certainly not free!

Our American governmental ideal of having citizen representation to protect us from a dictatorial Federal bureaucracy will be gone. That, my friends, equals tyranny. Whether the TYRANT is a single person, or a collective of people, is not the issue; the issue is whether men and women, born free, endowed with unalienable rights by their creator, are no longer free to exercise their rights unless first granted permission from their governors--TYRANTS!

America, I pray it is not too late. Many of us slept through the build up to this point. Many of us were educated and groomed to accept this new age way of life under "Progressivism" as the civilized evolution of society. I do NOT accept those misrepresentations and restrictions on my liberty. I spent most of my adult life in the military; not to get rich, but to DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION!

I hope enough of you feel strongly enough to join me in stopping the generational theft of our society as well as the dark cloud of tyranny.

A few FACTS about our President and his record on Gun Rights:

Contrary to what you heard during the debates, he does not support the individual's right to keep and bear arms.

- Obama appointed two anti-gun Supreme Court Justices

- Obama has repeatedly said he wanted to reimpose the failed "Clinton era gun bans"

- Obama's State Department, under Hilary Clinton, has reversed U.S. policy and participated in negotiations on a U.N. anti-gun treaty.

- Obama voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry.

-Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.

-Obama voted for a ban on standard capacity magazines.

-Obama voted to uphold criminal prosecutions of people who use firearms in self defense.

-Obama endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership.

-Obama opposed all Right-to Carry laws.

-Obama was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and "research".

-The Obama administration has been caught (and is now misleading us) in illegally running guns that ended up with criminals and Mexican drug cartels and resulted in a number of American and Mexican murders. (the media is trying to let this die).

Remember too, that "assault" is an action--not a type of gun. Whenever you hear someone start blaming the gun instead of the person, you know they are anti-gun.

Live your life in such a way

It is time to throw in with Wyoming and all individuals back your local sheriiffs department if they are standing up for your right to carry!! Wyoming is backing their people with a threat to arrest any Feds that try and take guns. The other states should stand up for Wyoming and do the same, I am sure they would have the support of the individuals Obama is not God and it is time he found out!!! Anita D. Phillips

A target range should also be placed on each property. (2) Larger states could have more than 1 chapter while smaller states could have 1 or 2 chapters. (3) ALL NRA members would be members of the nearest chapter & could go to the chapter anytime to meet & greet members & for training together. (4) The NRA should then begin training members at the local chapters in- Firearms - use & safety; Militia/Military tactics; Self-defense & Martial Arts; Survival training; Fitness training (to get all members into shape); First Aid training (Basic First Aid, EMT, Paramedic, CPR, AED). (5) Then should it be necessary for a "Muster" or "Call to Arms" ALL Chapter members could respond to their local Chapters fully "Locked & Loaded". ENOUGH SAID!!! CALL THE NRA & URGE THEM TO DO THIS, FOR THE PRESERVATION OF OUR GREAT REPUBLIC, THE PRESERVATION OF OUR LIBERTIES & FREEDOMS & THE PRESERVATION OF OUR WAY OF LIFE!!! CALL THE NRA ASAP!!!

I will NOT give up my weapons to ANYONE. Anyone who served in the military knows our oath was for life and I hold it dear to my heart and soul. America is on the verge of a very serious Constitutional crisis with this president having 4 more years to disarm the American citizens. At that point only the crooks will own guns and we are toast at that point. I find it funny how so many people don't have a historical perspective on what has happened when a citizenry is disarmed. The results were horrible with mass killings. Anyone remember Hitler for one?

The tyrannical government will not take my gun and we all need to take each others back. If they come for one they come for all. The Progressives ARE NOT the majority. They hold key positions in government, at all levels, our media and education but are not the majority. It feels like they are only because they hold key positions and have a mega horn with the media. We must NEVER stand down to this tyranny.

The AMA admits prescription drug side effect are now the fourth leading cause of death in America, like Vioxx alone may have caused 150,000 deaths before being removed from the market. Prescription drugs are now killing more people than the diseases they are supposed to be curing. Crestor causes cause serious muscle damage and other health risk. The list goes on and on and all for profits used to buy your and my corrupt Senators, like Reid who should be impeach on bribery charges, but protected by the Corrupt Brotherhood of Senators.
