Since my arrival in the free world, the third period of my life, I have witnessed the same demonstrations for peace and the same impotence-free people challenged by the expanding Marxist-Leninist ideology of arbitrary invasions, expropriations, and deportations. I have witnessed the same fragmentation of originally proud nations into selfish minorities, of helpless minorities into antagonistic classes, of decimated… Continue

Flushed with victory from my latest convert to conservatism (another citizen saved from the perdition of liberalism), my thoughts turn to the task at hand. That task is the complete and utter destruction of the Marxist/Leninist plague that is the regime of Barack Hussein Obama.
We as patriots know… Continue

… Get even, or so the saying goes. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, actually. I don’t get mad as such… it’s more of a frustration that I feel boiling up inside. You might think that the current administration, or the looniest of the left, is the cause of this combustible condition.
Well… no.… Continue

You may have read this partial transcript of an interview of G. Edward Griffin (political lecturer, author, founder of Freedom Force International) with former KGB psychological warfare agent Yuri Bezmenov that took place several years ago, but it is so very appropriate to what is taking place in America today that it needs to be read again. There are four stages to the downfall of America that was planned by the Marxists and has been underway for more than half a…

Progressive lies and Liberal Zombies
Poor unwitting democrats, they voted for Barack Obama because they were for the most part inundated with mistrust for Bush, by an unrelenting biased media. Now woken from their slumber, they are joining republicans and independents in these tea party affairs. They are afraid too! Why not, they are of sound mind. They see this gargantuan government mortgaging the futures of our children. They are also in tune to the fact that… Continue

I just read one of Sotomayor's articles from 1996...when she was already a judge on the U.S. District Court. The article is called "Returning Majesty to the Law and Politics: A Modern Approach." http://bit.ly/sDp0K
The pompous title is followed by an article that is little more than is a silly rehash of stale arguments concerning why we should still all look up to judges, lawyers and elected officials who make up the law as they see fit.
Given her proven lack of empathy, I… Continue

I watched a video clip of Sotomayer making fun of the idea that judges are supposed to pay attention to the law and not make up their own policies. As far as I’m concerned she’s another big mistake by Obama…right up there with trying to close the Guantánamo Bay Detention Camp without a plan.

As a victim of affirmative action, I feel strongly for those White and Hispanic firefighters who were harmed by Sotomayor’s decisions. She is apparently one of those liberals who thinks only of her own selfish ends and does not care who is harmed, alarmed, and hurt in the process. I urge Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to hold back her nomination. She has no respect for the Constitution and her appointment would undermine respect for law and order.

Sotomayor’s objectionable quote is actually much more racist than most blog posters realize. If you read the words prior to the objectionable quote, you’ll see that Sotomayor says: “Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences, a possibility I abhor less or discount less than my colleague Judge Cedarbaum, our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.” In other words, she is quite comfortable tracing her superiority to genetics… Continue

It never ceases to amaze me that people who know nothing about the Middle East, in this case Roger Cohen but many other names come to mind, can suddenly proclaim themselves experts and make the most elementary errors involving the lives of other people. It also never ceases to amaze me that people can visit a country, especially a dictatorship, be wined and dined, handed a line and believe it so thoroughly that their mind is closed ever after.
Recently, I… Continue

Most of the time, newspapers at least purport to report. Sometimes, however, the wire services give us timelines, backgrounders, and in this case questions and answers which gives a good chance to test their thinking. Here is the January 18, “Questions and answers on Gaza's next steps” by Sally Buzbee of AP in Cairo. It is entitled, “The hard part is still to come.”
Let’s go through all of its points and evaluate them. My notes have a hyphen before them.… Continue
