****** EMERGENCY ALERT ******

****** EMERGENCY ALERT ******January 13, 2010Subject: State SovereigntyI just received a call from Senator Shane Martin. The democrats are filibustering the Sovereignty Bill in the Senate. When a cloture vote was requested the democrats requested adjournment. A “Roll Call” on adjournment was requested. Although several Republican Senators were absent today, every Republican Senator that was present voted against adjournment except Jake Knotts. I was informed that Jack Knotts has never and will…See More

RINO Republican In Name Only

Why do I hear so much anger being directed towards the Democrats? You will never train a lion to live in peace with the Gazelle. The Democrats are just doing what Democrats have always done. Tax and spend, and hold to their conviction that government is the answer to every problem. Who sold us out for the last eight years? RINO politicians sold us out. They tell us that they are Christians and they support lower taxes, they want security for our nation and they stand against abortion, and…See More

RINO HUNT 2010

RINO HUNTNews LetterOctober 6, 2009As dissatisfaction grows with both political parties, there must be a plan to recover conservative values and constitutional government in our State and Nation. For example, in the South Carolina legislature we have a majority of Republicans in both the House and Senate. However, we do not have a majority of conservative, constitutionally dedicated legislators. In order for South Carolinians to prosper, we must make a change in leadership.Everyone has a plan…See More

I need your input to see if we can make it happen.....

Liberals are ringing the phones off the hook in Washington in support of ObamaCare.

St Patrick Drove the Snakes out of Ireland. Let's drive the snakes out of Congress..... the snake oil salesman with them.

Lets get in the streets Saturday March13th.........

How many think we should also march against this Health Care Takeover..?

Saturday March 13 is St. Patrick's Day...

How many think it would like to see a march in our State Capitol that day..?

We can all make it to our State Capitol on Saturday because we can't all make it to Washington DC.. The politicians can turn off the Fax machines and phones.. but they cannot hide from us if we are out in the street

Let me know how many think it's a good idea to march in Columbia on March 13........ at noon!!!

GOP, Tea Party movement plan partnership despite disagreement over candidate designation
By Rudolph Bell • Staff Writer • February 6, 2010

Party activists rejected an overture from state and local Republican parties to create a new process for vetting the ideological purity of candidates.

But the South Carolina and Greenville County Republican parties still plan a partnership with the Tea Party movement, and their chairmen are scheduled to release more details Monday.

Tea Party activists in the Upstate said Patrick Haddon, chairman of the GOP county party, and Dan Herren, its state executive committeeman, last month proposed that the GOP work with them to vet candidates, designating the ones who met certain criteria as “Tea Party Republicans.”

Tea Party activists, however, rejected the plan and were planning to protest it until Haddon intervened to stop the demonstration, said Harry Kibler, spokesman for the Upstate Coalition of Conservative Groups.

The newly formed coalition includes Tea Party groups in Greenville, Seneca and Boiling Springs, and the Campaign for Liberty associated with libertarian Congressman Ron Paul. Its members share a belief in limited government as called for in the state and federal constitutions, Kibler said
.

Kibler said Haddon and Herren presented the candidate-vetting proposal at a meeting in mid-January as having been blessed by Karen Floyd, chairwoman of the state Republican Party.

Kibler said he and Bill Rhodes, a leader of the Greenville Tea Party, relayed the GOP idea at a meeting of Tea Party activists two days later, but they vehemently rejected it.

“The overall objection was the fact that the Tea Party movement absolutely does not want to be identified as a political party,” Kibler said. “We want to remain independent.”

SAVE THE DATE: Hot Air Tour to Visit South Carolina

Sadly, Senator Lindsey Graham has turned his back on South Carolina families and small businesses and teamed up with Massachusetts Senator John Kerry to push a job killing Cap and Trade bill. He joins President Obama and Speaker Pelosi pushing a scheme that raises taxes on your gasoline, raise taxes on your home heating and cooling and kills jobs by the thousands with government rationing of our energy -- all in the name of Al Gore's Global Warming alarmism.

Register for one of the stops of Americans for Prosperity's Hot Air Tour
in South Carolina

You can fight back -- just like we did with Tea Parties. Bring your family out to Americans for Prosperity’s Hot Air Tour, in South Carolina October 26-28, as we send a message to Senator Graham that a Cap and Trade will raise taxes and kill jobs. We'll have free food and free rides on a giant 70-foot-tall hot Air balloon (weather permitting).
