On righteous indignation

I am about halfway through Andrew Breitbart's book, Righteous Indignation. So far it is a great read.

I am embarrassed to say that Andrew and I share a common history: we were both slackers in college. Although we are of different eras, and followed different paths, we both ended up as tea party conservatives today. It is fascinating to see how Breitbart matured as he became more and more aware of the hypocrisy of the left and the lame stream media. His conversion to conservatism did…

On Wisconsin

The Wisconsin fight now seems to be one of principle and it is apparent that the Republicans have blinked. The Democrats had indicated that they would concede on reducing benefits and pension. All that remains is the ideological issue of converting Wisconsin to a right to work state.

The real question is if the liberal protesters really reflect the will of the population of Wisconsin. It seems to me that most of the people wanted Republicans in office and said so in the November… Continue

Obama got his way on Egypt and a fear we shall all suffer for it

After weeks of waffling (see today's New York Times) Obama finally got his way on Egypt. Mubarak is out of the way and the people supposedly now have a way to democracy. Few remember that this was the way that Nasser, Sadat, and Mubarak came to power. All were members of the military and all assumed control while promising free and open elections. It never happened.

With Mubarak. We had somebody, if handled diplomatically, we could control. With the Army, we have no one who has a close… Continue

Obama betrays His own Egyptian envoy.... who was supporting the Egyptian people who want a smooth transition

Below is a series of e-mails regarding an eyewitness account of the events in Egypt. My response is to the account that is not reported in the mainstream media, to wit, many Egyptians want a smooth transition with Mubarak handing over power at the new election.

The special envoy to Egypt, Amb. Frank Wisner, helped to persuade Mubarak to give up power. The idea was to make it clear to everyone that there will be a new president after the election this fall with Mubarak handing over the… Continue

"On the surface this case has more merit than the Martin case.  In both situations, however, there is a rush to judement and accusations of racism.  In both cases the authorities are taking a calm approach and bringing the entire case to a…"

Lets simply reject this asinine 'draft' to reduce the US deficit to a few ELIMATIONS of federal spending: to whit.
1. Education dept 2. EPA 3. Energy dept.4. SS for illegals from all countries
5. AMTRACK AND US Post Office, make both private businesses.
6. Tax imports 25% if similiar items are being made in America
7. Reward US companys that return their manufacturing base to America by allowing lower corporate rates for 10 years.
8.Reduce federal wages, compensation by 1% per year for the next ten years. Add a 1% gross federal sales tax on all cell phone charges

Hi George,
Thankyou for answering my question! I was torn with the upcoming primaries because I liked 2 candidates, but I wanted to make sure the candidate I picked had the same values the the Tea Party members back in their candidate.

George,

GOOGLE now admits to "snooping" and "taking" information from every computer connected to the Internet.

BIG BROTHER IS HERE!

And BIG BROTHER WORKS FOR PRESIDENT/DICTATOR BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!

GOOD REASON TO STAY AWAY FROM MOVEON.org's WEB SITE!
