Comment by Judy J on January 20, 2011 at 9:54am http://www.contactingthecongress.org/ does include an updated list of phone numbers and faxes so I will use that. Thanks again for trying to post your list. I had a book published by Grassfire.org for the previous Congress and it was terrific because it included all the information in one little book that you could carry to a phone or fax machine. I emailed them and asked if they would be publishing a new one for the new Congress, but never got a response.
Comment by Joan McDaniel on January 20, 2011 at 9:54am Judy J what I like about this list:
1) easy access to person's website
2) the history of the person;
a) did they have any business experience or was it all government only.
b) when were they elected and when is the next election.
c) the committees they are on and a direct link to the committee and its fax numbers.
3) It is being updated as fast as possable.
4) I can use this to get to a specfic person and use their website or phone number immediatly.

Comment by Joan McDaniel on January 19, 2011 at 8:49pm I just found a great site HOW PROGRESSIVE IS YOUR CONGRESS PERSON?
ProgressivePunch is a non-partisan searchable database of Congressional voting records. from a Progressive perspective. But we're convinced it's extremely useful irrespective of anyone's political positions.
We show the performance of members within 160 different issue categories, and detailed vote descriptions, thereby empowering you to zero in on what matters to you.
