Site promotion is especially important to impact the election, influence and knowledge of the movement.

We need a dedicated team willing to assist us as site promoters!

Do you Twitter and Tweet Tweet? Do you Face Book? Do you My Space or You Tube?

We need Tea Partiers that will share discussions, blogs, groups, and the site as a whole to these and other conservative sites and groups.

If this sounds like you join the team and we will notify you soon!

Thanks!

Darla

If someone wants to promote events via Twitter... great...

Actually... my "specialty" is finding "hard news" & commentary by well respected journalists & tweeting about it....

I don't go after the partisan crowd.. their already in my corner....

There are two site mentioned here....

Freedomworks & Rise 2011

I looked at the Face Book page for Freedom Works last night...

they have over 650,000 fans,,,,

That number far exceeds the membership of this site.. and we should see how we can collaborate with them....

I'm looking for the "Independent Vote"... There are millions of "cross over" voters.. and they will help determine the next election....

Bring something to the table that will attract an "indy's" attention, and you've got a vote you can count on....

It is my under standing that all these groups put themselves under the tea party movement a tea party  umbrella  not that they are members.  According to the E-mail I received from Daral Dawald they want us to promote the events of all groups and we are to promote everything to as many groups as we can contact on feacbook twitter my space E-Mail .I think we will have a roll in rise 2011 which is to get the message out.

I think we need to mall talk about what the over agenda is.

Announcing RISE 2011!

Hi William M. Finley,

What an amazing two years! Two years ago today I was making the rounds at Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and many other tv networks to try and explain what was about to happen for the Tax Day Tea Party. You can watch a segment I did with Fox News a day before the Histor....

Since then we've been quietly building in several states, preparing for the 2012 elections and beyond. Key word is "quietly."

That ends today.

Many of you have been asking "so what's next?" It's a question that has plagued the movement for its entire two yer lifespan. And not a single "organization" has properly addressed it, other than to ask for a quick donation and a "join our group!" email. How many times do we need to march to D.C.?

What our movement needs is to organize and network locally in a way that has never been done before. Our political opponents reinvented the way they build political power at the local level... we need to do the same.

Right now Paul Ryan is pushing his new budget that properly address growth in government and outrageous, uncontrollable spending in Washington. Unless we build a network of millions of Americans who can become a public relations machine to support the effort, it will ultimately have a very tough time succeeding.

To add to that, unless we have a coordinated network of millions of Americans ready to hit the doors for an opponent to Barack Obama in 2012, we won't win that race either. This can't be left to a Republican candidate, nor can it be trusted that a "national organization" or beltway group will properly address it.

With this in mind, I'm very please to announce the launch of the National Neighborhood Action Initiative. The purpose of this campaign is to build a network of 100,000 Americans who will pledge to go door-to-door this year and find ten (10) other Americans who will be ready to carry the message when the time comes. This effort will result in 1,000,000 Americans ready to activate, which in turn can translate into 10,000,000, then 100,000,000.

The Pledge for the National Neighborhood Action Initiative is located at Liberty.com and will be hosted there for the remainder of this year.

I strongly encourage you to read about the National Neighborhood Action Initiative here. I believe our future depends on success of an effort like this, and our group is going to put everything we have into seeing it through.

Please visit the new site at RISE2011.com and spread the link to all of your networks.

Let's go save our nation.

For Liberty,
-Eric Odom

P.S. Can you also please tweet about this and share it on Facebook?

Re: Tea party....

I know alot of members here also belong to various local tea party groups, but everyone on PAN is not a Tea Party Member.... I think it would be prudent to focus on the message........ As to local events.... isn't there a place on the homepage of the site where local Tea Party events are mentioned???

Comment by William M Finley on April 19, 2011 at 1:44pm

Yes think we all need to talk about the whole plan what  we are are trying to do here

so yes it would be a good idea to do what freedom works is doing as well many others have done, also how dose this relate to rise 2011. According to Eirc Odom we are organizing this for a reason.

secondly I thought the idea was to promote events of all tea party groups to try to create a unified agenda to support each other and to protected our god given LIBERTY

Hi Guys..... I was supposed to connect with Dee last weekend, but didn't...

Your asking some good questions...

Best hashtags to use, twitter feeds, etc....

One of the best ways to get noticed, I find, is to send a tweet that gets enough retweets to get recognized by topsy.com.. a search engine for popular hashtags & subjects....

I don't know who took the screen name Patriot Action, but they haven't sent a tweet since March 16th of last year.....

Ideally, we will get together at least once a week (if thats feasible)  to discuss & share information & suggestions.....

Do we have a Twitter hash tag? For instance, Top Conservatives on Twitter uses #TCOT. If not, maybe we should create one. Also, is there a twitter feed like @patriotaction that someone uses to promote this site and it's contents? If there is, can someone let me know what it is so I can follow it and promote it on Twitter? Thanks!!
