Guest Speakers: US Congressman Bill Posey, “watchdog” Clerk of Courts Scott Ellis, political pundit Chris Ingram and local entertainer Mark Vance.

By pure coincidence, the Tea Party is the same day the Moving Wall Veteran’s Memorial will be set up at the Southern part of Wickham Park. It will be an honor and a privilege to pay homage to the brave souls that have given their lives to defend our freedom at the Tea Party.

I will have a ResistNet tabe set up at the Tea Party. Anyone willing to help out in maning the table and telling the folks about the website please contact me!

The post-rally get together will be at Ember Restaurant, 3 blocks north of city hall on Central Ave. And the Saturday following the rally, on April 18, Smart Girl Politics, one the co-sponsors of the the nationwide movement, is hosting a get together at White Wolf Cafe on Orange Ave. at 6:30pm. Smart men are welcome, too!

Luke not sure if this is what you are referring to but during the planning of our strategy for the March 21st Tea Party someone had the idea to do a pig roast; but we did not do it. As to socializing, the last I heard we were planning to go somewhere to unwind after the Tea Party at City Hall on tax day. I hope that is still the plan. I, like you, think it is important to our success for us to bond on that level.

I just had a question about Tom's last statement about the "pig roast." I don' t know anything about this. Is this an afterparty type thing. If so..sounds like a great way for all of us to unite, get to know each-other and help spread ideas. On the other hand I hope it is totally separate from the Tea-party protest. We are here to do a job,...to tell people we are mad as hell!! and not gonna take it anymore!!!!
Any info or advice on where to find out more info would be appreciated, thanks Tom and or anyone else.

Just want to say Hello and Welcome to all the new district 8 members. The numbers are so important and so is our fellowship. I was in the company of liberals for two years arguing and fielding insults. To be with like minded folks; its like that nightmare never happened.

Oh yeah will definitely be there covering that one(GE meeting). And don't let anyone tell you that the sidewalks or anything else is privately owned(there were people saying that on this site earlier). It is Orange county conventions center and is of course government owned. Also I worked there a number of years back and anyone is free to walk around (except for privately payed for rooms). Security will likely kick us out after awhile for making a scene but isn't that what we want to do. At that point we can always go back to the sidewalks. Spread the word to everyone you know.

In additon to April 15, there's April 22 at the Orange County Convention center. Glenn Beck has called on Orlando to show up at the GE shareholder's meeting and express our discontent with their political agenda.

I am a new member and would like to say I am proud to be a part of the group. I am also a photographer and would like to extend my services to anyone who has any ideas that could help the cause. I will be participating in many of the protests as well as photographing them. Thanks, Luke
