FAILURES to inform voters

A good example of a failure to expose the public to issues which are "suddenly" put forth on election ballots is the most recent State Constitutional Amendment concerning "Hunting & Fishing"…Continue

At the Unite In Action March on Washington, iCaucus announced it's Principled Candidate Fund. We are raising campaign funds for all our Citizen Vetted, Citizen Approved candidates. You can watch this video to find out more about our some of our candidates.

These candidates need and deserve our support, each one of them is running to take on the establishment and return this country to the Constitution. You can find out more about them and iCaucus in our online candidate guide. We currently have over 80 candidates running for various position across the country. Some of them are familiar names already and the rest we hope will be in the future.

If you wish to support the candidates you can place your donation using this web site. The donations ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE AND WILL BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING ICAUCUS ENDORSED CANDIDATES. On the donation page you will have to option to support the candidates you like the most or you can donate to the general fund.

If you can not support these candidates with your donation, we have various virtual means which you can help them get elected. Please check out www.icaucus.org and icaucus.ning.com for more information on how you can do so.

Thank you

Well...it looks like Dwain Seaton, Jr. won the County Mayor election by 3 votes !!! Apparently, the results of determining the 12 provisional ballots gave an additional 1 vote margin to Seaton.

Again, a clear example of how each and every vote can and DOES matter.
Keep that in mind this Fall !!!!!!!

Any comments on the results for County Mayor:
Patricia Jones 1690......
Dwain Seaton, Jr.......1692

The latest is that there are approx 12 "provisional" ballots which need to be verified and counted. This obviously may alter the final (or official) totals.
Provisional ballots are those which are taken in on Election Day...but where voter authenticity or other such information needs to be verified by officials before they can be counted (i.e. address verification, eligibility, etc.).
By law, the Commission has until Aug 23 to decide on these; however unofficial comments indicate that this will be accomplished much sooner.

So there you have it...... Apparently, it was a much closer race than many had predicated.
So now we wait !

Bernie,
I will offer what help I can.

My main suggestion is to do what you seem to be already doing. Getting people together to education themselves about the issues of today. As far as learning about how the government is suppose to work I would suggest that you start a book club meeting dealing with the "5000 Year Leap". There is also a text book on the Constitution written by the same person/group that you can get DVD lessons for. I would also suggest that. I would also suggest that you and your members read John Locke, Adam Smith, and Frederic Bastiat. They are heavy reading, but you may find that you have some people who can read it and then lead discussion on the subjects.

I would also suggest, that if you haven't, check out ICaucus (www.icaucus.org). We are an umbrella group that can help you vet, endorse and support candidates in your area. We believe in the people in a congressional district making the decision on who we endorse, not having that decision forced on you from some national group. YOU Interview the candidates, YOU vote on the candidates, and WE help you support the candidate YOU have chosen. We do have rules for these steps, but they are their to make sure the candidates chosen have the support of the citizens and also are supports of the Constitution, Fiscally Conservative Policies, and of good character.

Finally, I suggest you get the book "The Spider and the Starfish". It is an interesting book on how to be successful against a strong top down organization, by being using a decentralized approach.
