Real Unemployment is at 36% and ‘Nero’ is Fiddling while DC is Burning!

The story goes that the Roman empire was beginning to weaken and crumble from within first, then from without. Moral decay and utter depravity were common-place. The Romans were losing their will. They were losing their will to resist corrupt pleasures, corrupt politicians and politics, corrupt education, family and religion. They were losing their will to say “NO!” to taxation and government encroachments as long as the Colosseums were running, the Gladiators fighting, Lions eating Christians and the orgies going on…the Romans didn’t care about the taxation or government intrusions…at the first.

Then when a person of conscience and conviction did speak up they were mocked, attacked and even killed. As dissatisfaction and protest grew the problems from without also grew. Other nations, other tribes, saw Rome weakening. They saw it rotting from within. Some had their “agents”/spies embedded deep into Roman culture, education, politics and everyday life. Now they began to attack from outside. Wave after wave of foreign tribes and nations warred against Rome. Rome held…at the first.

But Caesar refused to change. Refused to do what was right, refused to do what had made Rome the mighty Empire it once was. Instead Caesar blamed “The People”, particularly the Conservatives…and especially those “eViL Christians”…

Sound familiar?

We’re not an empire (no matter what certain extremist Liberals and fringe Libertarians say. Rome conquered- We Liberate...and ONLY when we or an ally are attacked.)

But the similarities are there.

Rome began as a REPUBLIC. It once had a strong emphasis and respect on the family, it had checks and balances and it respected rights and freedoms. Even the lands they Rome had conquered had local, native figure-heads as leaders. Rome had a strong respect for the Rule of Law at it’s outset… these and other attributes made Rome strong, respected, orderly, productive, prosperous and powerful. BUT as Rome departed from what made Rome Good it also began to depart from what made Rome great.

America began as a Christian nation. The people that found, settled, explored and built America were Puritans, Pilgrims, Huegonots, Annabaptists, Quakers, Shakers, Dutch Reform, Presbyterians…Christian people looking for a place to raise their families and worship as they saw fit according to their understanding of God and His Word.

As the American Revolution looked inevitable tensions were high, focus was divided, loyalties split, the distractions caused a waning in spiritual fervor and devotion. Then, in answer to prayer, The Lord God sent the Great Awakening. This morally and spiritually prepared the American colonists for the war that was coming. As one reads the journals, diaries, sermons, speeches and letters from America’s Founders the recurrent theme of “Our Dependency on the Hand of Divine Providence and His Mercies” is seen.

America was born.

And as we remained true to the Core Foundational Principles of Liberty we prospered.

Those Core Foundational Principles of Liberty- Life, Liberty, The Pursuit of Happiness, Private Property, The Rule of Law (see more at:  http://revlarry.patriotactionnetwork.com/2011/09/10/the-principles-...  )- are WHAT made America GOOD. And because America was Good America was Great.

As America would begin to stray from her Core Principles of Liberty there were people who would pray and call on The Lord God, and conversely God would raise up people to lead America back to her Core Foundational Principles of Liberty (Charles Finney, Charles Spurgeon, Dwight L. Moody, Billy Sunday, Billy Graham, James Kennedy, Jerry Falwell, David Wilkerson…)

Now America has a President sworn to fundamentally transform America. Obama and the DNC have NO loyalty and NO respect for The U.S. Constitution. Their every word and deed belies the fact that they hate America, they hate what made America Good…and they really hate that America was great because of that.

Obama not only says we’re no longer a Christian nation- he says we never were one and lauds the “many blessing and advancements made in America because of it’s strong respect and affiliation with Islam!! Besides Britain in the American Revolution & The War of 1812 it was Muslem Pirates and Jihadists America fought Wars against in our early days, the War against the Barbary/Muslem Pirates, you know, where the Marines get the line “from the shores of Tripoli” from?!!

Obama not only says we need to “spread the wealth”- he is working 24/7/365 to rob from producer, the worker and the earner, the rightful owner, and “give” it to welfare cheats, bums and his Union cronies…who didn’t lift a pinkie to deserve it!!

Obama not only went on a Global “I-Apologise-For-America/Blame-America” tour- he has steadfastly work to make America a 4th World, indebted to our ENEMIES, bankrupt and impoverished nation…that just so happens to be “fundamentally transformed” into a Marxist-Muslem Dictatorship!

White House threw secret ‘Alice in Wonderland’ bash during recession

It was the tea party the Obamas just couldn’t resist. A White House “Alice in Wonderland” costume ball — put on by Johnny Depp and Hollywood director Tim Burton — proved to be a Mad-as-a-Hatter idea that was never made public for fear of a political backlash during hard economic times, according to a new tell-all.

“The Obamas,” by New York Times correspondent Jodi Kantor, tells of the first Halloween party the first couple feted at the White House in 2009. It was so over the top that “Star Wars” creator George Lucas sent the original Chewbacca to mingle with invited guests.

The book reveals how any official announcement of the glittering affair — coming at a time when Tea Party activists and voters furious over the lagging economy, 10-percentunemployment rate, bank bailouts and Obama’s health-care plan were staging protests — quickly vanished down the rabbit hole.

“White House officials were so nervous about how a splashy, Hollywood-esque party would look to jobless Americans — or their representatives in Congress, who would soon vote on health care — that the event was not discussed publicly and Burton’s and Depp’s contributions went unacknowledged,” the book says.

The REAL numbers were at that time 10-13% UNemployment, now it’s 22-25%. Some estimate as high as 36% unemployment.

Folks, these “Caesars” are golfing 3-5 times a week, going on vacation every other week, going shopping and having “Nero-type” parties on your and my tax dollars all while gutting our Military, threatening a new war (Iran), taking over GM, Chrysler, the banks, The lending and housing markets and "Communising" Health-Care!!
