Military chiefs turn their fire on Barack Obama over Afghanistan withdrawal plan

America's military leaders have distanced themselves from President's Barack Obama's plan to withdraw 33,000 troops from Afghanistan by next September, branding the drawdown timetable as more hasty and riskier than the one they proposed.

General David Petraeus, the Nato commander in Afghanistan, told Senators: "The ultimate decision was a more aggressive formulation, if you will, in terms of the timeline than what we had recommended."

Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the most senior United States military commander, used a hearing before the House Armed Services Committee to reveal a significant breach between Mr Obama and the senior officers he charged with defeating the Taliban in Afghanistan.

"The president's decisions are more aggressive and incur more risk than I was originally prepared to accept," he told a House of Representatives committee hearing...

When it was BHO vs the economy he was wrong and egregiously so. And that sorely affected the nation's pocket-book. As bad as that IS THIS is worse. THIS could be the harbinger of more Terrorist attacks ON U.S. soil, even attacks involving WMDs- not good.

Chris , When you have people like O'Rielly singing obama's praise and not a word about the forgery of a certificate of live Birth obama showed April 27 2011 to prove that he was a US Citizen. If that document where not a forgery then it would still prove obama was not eligible to be US President because it shows his father was not a US citizen at the time of Obama's birth . So ether way obama is a fraud .

The American people's problem is that our Congress and our Supreme Court dose not wont to obey the US Constitution . I can only simonize that there are so many in our government that are involved in this fraud and that is why nothing is going to get done until We The People march on our capital and demand Justice.

There are too many people in Washington that know he is inelligible and know that they are going to get in a world of trouble when it is found out that they have perpetrated the biggest hoax on America ever...they make Madoff look like a moron. They know he is ineligible, the CIA, the FBI all of them that were in office in 2007 and Pelosi fraudently approved him for Hawaii since Hawaii was the only state that did not verify him. We must remove him from office in 2012 and then investigate him and anyone who knew of his fraud on the American people. Everything he signed will be null and void and he will go in history as a fraudelent president. I feel for the African Americans who backed him .... they will really be let down when the truth emerges and it will in time.

Ginger, The black Americans that I know are sorry and have already been let down. But they have learned just what Martin Luther King meant when He said Don't judge a man by the color of his skin, but by the character of the man. This is a lesson for all of us. The fact is that those that vetted Obama should be judged in the same way as the law would allow. Just as Tarrie Larkin had to go to jail for what he did which was wrong on the judge that woud not allow him to defend himself.We now have wicked leaders in the government. Doing wicked things to his people that he leads. But, thank God in the end we win, he loses.

Ginger, I feel the same way as you do about the people in Washington. Congress should take action and so should our military leaders but all they seem to do is go along with him.

The blacks are slowly waking up. I live in Alabama and know this for a fact. One of our citizens who happens to be black has written a book about how the democrats have made the blacks dependent on them and use them as their base. His name is KCarl Smith, his website is www.conservativemessenger.org. His book is about Frederick Douglas who was part of the beginning of the Republican Party and he was a black man. KCarl tells it like it is and tells his story of when he was a democrat and how he converted to being republican. His book also tells people how to respond to comments of people accusing us of being racist. All we have to do is tell them we are Federick Douglas Republicans and say what we believe in. I had heard before what KCarl said and that was when you say you are conservative somehow that turns blacks off. Black people are more conservative than we are but because of democrats telling lies they think when we say conservative that we mean we are against the black people. His book tells you how to stop them from doing this.

I hope he gets the message out about the 3/5 clause ,that is the one false hood that democraps always use, and if you don't know the history behind this ,it is a easy target for the dems to use against our founding fathers. If more blacks knew what the dems have done against them they would run not walk away from the dem. party, except you have socialist teachers pushing their agenda ,that is the dem. party, to keep funding the NEA and a dem pres. who is all about unions

I don't "feel for" anyone who voted for O'Bumble, our pretend Irish pretend president. They chose to turn their collective backs on the truth, which WAS available to any of them who desired to know and vote for a nothing for no other reason than they hated Bush and wanted something different.....anything as long as it was different. The truth WILL come out eventually, and heads will roll. I just hope I'm alive to see Pelosi, Reid, Rahmbo, Obumble, Biden, Holder, and the whole stinking crew of lying thugs in prison.

It may not be that "so many are involved in the fraud" as it is that what we have AT THE TOP are a gaggle of spineless, gutless politicians. What we, what America needs are Leaders, they used to called Statesmen...but we have too few Statesmen Leaders at the top.

In 2010 over 600 Conservatives were elected to office- local, state and national. What we need is a Reaganesque president to be elected in 2012 and then also ADD MORE Conservatives to Congress, Governorships, State Legislatures, State Secretary of States... i.e. to have real LEADERS in the place(s) to make the right decisions.
