Media Matters' Planned War Against FOX
Make no mistake....this is a war against Conservatives! They want to take down FOX because it is considered the Conservative news site. What should our response be? What progressive sites should we take a 'distinct' interest in??? They want to go into the trenches, I guess we can follow them there...your suggestions on an appropriate response would be greatly appreciated!
Media Matters' war against Fox
The liberal group Media Matters has quietly transformed itself in preparation for what its founder, David Brock, described in an interview as an all-out campaign of “guerrilla warfare and sabotage” aimed at the Fox News Channel.
The group, launched as a more traditional media critic, has all but abandoned its monitoring of newspapers and other and is narrowing its focus to Fox and a handful of conservative websites, which its leaders view as political organizations and the “nerve center” of the conservative movement. The shift reflects the centrality of the cable channel to the contemporary conservative movement, as well as the loathing it inspires among liberals — not least among the donors who fund Media Matters’ staff of about 90, who are arrayed in neat rows in a giant war room above Massachusetts Avenue.

Why do we have to Target anyone at all? Why stoop to their level? I think Fox News it's Hosts and the great people that contribute to Fox News can handle what ever Media Matters throws at them, don't you? The Truth and the Facts always seem to prevail, especially lately. I believe the American people are waking up to the liberal cowardess, sneakyness and flat out mistruths that folks like Media Matters tries to present as news.
They don't deserve the extra press and notice they would get by some how retaliating against them!

I think the answer to why do we have to target anyone is this, we have been silent too long and look what is happening to our country. Who is running it and turning it into a place many no longer recognize. Many Americans have yet to wake up, especially the young people in their 20's and 30's, they are busy raising families and working hard to support them. They are just now noticing how their incomes are diminishing and why! Its coming but we have to keep talking. Not attacking, Talking!

Why stoop to their level? When the battle is in the trenches and you don't want to "stoop to their level" and fight - don't plan on winning much. "Turning the other cheek" will only get your other cheek slapped too. If FOX News was going to "fight" you wouldn't have seen things happen like when Glenn Beck was on the morning show claiming he couldn't prove that FEMA Camps were non existence - in fact he gave the impression of actually being worried about them to me - and then by his afternoon air time - he had changed his mind completely, FOX has some darned good people - but none of them will tell the whole truth. Have any of you heard one single FOX News personality claim that Allahbama is NOT a legal citizen of the USA? FOX is good about getting little bits of truth out - but they hide from the big stories that would get the whole truth out to the people - just like the rest of the media does. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that O'Reilly had voted for Allahbama - he's blown about every chance he's had to do an honest interview with his mooslum buddy. I like the Heck out of Hannity - as a person - but his "same ol' - same ol' " gripes and points became worn out a long time ago. People who rely on only FOX News for their views ain't getting even close to the whole story. The one who tells the most truth is Glenn Beck - when he tells us not to believe him - to do the work ourselves. I think he is trying to tell us - "I can't tell you the truth - but it is out there if you look!". I recently heard that FOX sold off something like 17% to a Saudi. Hmmm..... I wonder - would 17% owned by a non-American mooslum effect their views? I think our news media is like our court system - if you've got enough money - you can get any "truth" or "justice" that you can afford to buy. As for "WHO" to target? You could probably pick ANY of the alphabet news outlets and be "RIGHT ON TARGET". To Hell with the "politically correct" and phoney BS attitude! That is only supposed to be applied to us - and not them - anyway. Take aim and then destroy the enemy - with words - truth - or whatever it takes to defend our country.

Sometimes following the money isn't as easy as it seems. Who owns our country? Who owns our politicians? The international bankers? Who exactly are they? The wealthiest who we never hear about and know nothing about? I'd like them to be exposed for they are the ones who want this nation to collapse.

You're right Eagle. The one person who is really telling the truth, and telling you to check it for yourself is Glenn Beck. Just about everything he said a couple of years ago is coming true or has come to light. He is one of the main reasons obuma and the left want Beck and Fox news gone. They are scared to death that more people will follow and learn the truth about what is happening to this great nation of ours....or at least a great nation before obuma fundamentally changes it.

@Eagle, I agree with alot of what you stated, but when the truth is consistently hidden, SCREAMED at, and the speaker is name called with hideous names it becomes a frightful problem. We in the Conservative tent have not done as much preparation and practice as those in the Liberal/Progressive left. We do not have access to those young "mush minds" that they are their cronies (NEA) have to impart a particular belief structure. We have to "maintain" like the TEA PARTY has been doing for the last two years... FOCUS on what we need - NEW Politicians who understand the Conservative mindset and are willing to view the Constitution as a document that it is mean't to be - a LIMITING document for Gov't.
We all have to be able to share websites and "bits" of information to those who don't get it and encourage them to check it out and see for themselves, much like Glenn does - only I can believe what I choose so I better do the homework so I am confortable with my decision...
TO ALL CONSERVATIVES - NEVER GIVE UP - NEVER GIVE IN - Check out the tenants of the Masons if you want to know more about who the Founders really were and what motivated them...

Can you imagine how much farther along the progressives would have been if not for Beck? Would we have been able to ferret out the truth of all this insanity? Thank God, Beck started when he did, and gave us ample time to check out the truth for ourselves.
Now we have no excuse. At least we have had time to prepare. God bless.

your right. Look how many watch Fox news as they do give both sides. They have plenty of video's where the marxist say it not fox saying it. They show you what the main stream no news won't. You never hear of Fox news trying to shut the other side up or down. LOL That is communism you hear only what they want you to. The main stream news has lost most viewers as have the newspapers that tell one side only. Americans are not as stupid as they think or would like them to be. Even if your on the left side do you really want to hear only one view ? Think about it. Your controlled but those who watch Fox news are not and can hear both sides and then decide what is true and what is false.
