Get ready: SEIU’s Purple Army nationwide protest schedule; teachers’ unions pressure members to show “solidarity”

UPDATE:
We had listed what Mark Williams and some others in Sacremento CA were planning to do as far as infiltrating the SEIU rallies. We never asked our members to take that kind of action nor was that our intention.
We asked you to organize counter protests as it states below. We then showed you what SEIU is planning, a letter from Jim Testerman,PSEA President followed by Mark Williams blog. I have since removed the blog to make it clear we are NOT calling for that action to be taken but rather as it states below, this was a call to action to organize and support counter protests.
Hope this clears up any confusion.

Counter Protests
List them in the events section

Original post below:
This is a CALL to ACTION for the TEA PARTY
Time to get into to gear and organize your troops at the local level in the areas listed below. Contact your tea party and anyone else who will support our side. It's time to show these big labor goons and the country we can organize without big Union and DNC money!
Let us know about your planned counter protests and we will promote it.

Over the past week, I’ve been sharing e-mails from public school teachers — compulsory union members — who are disgusted by their Big Labor bosses’ power-preservation attempts.

Another educator in Pennsylvania shared the note the teachers’ union there sent out to members orchestrating “solidarity” events:

Members, Please wear red Tuesday to show solidarity with Wisconsin teachers!

Speak up for workers’ rights

Show your support:

Wear red on Tuesday, Feb. 22

Sign the online petition supporting workers’ rights.

Print “We Are One” stickers to share with your colleagues.

ACTION NEEDED – The right to bargain is under attack

Dear PSEA Member,

On Tuesday, February 22, make a small but important gesture to help your colleagues across the nation. PLEASE WEAR SOMETHING RED TO WORK. As I write this e-mail, education employees and other public employees in Wisconsin and Ohio are being threatened with losing their right to collectively bargain. Many years of hard fought gains may be wiped out with a single vote in their legislatures.

Wisconsin: Governor Scott Walker is proposing to wipe away decades of collective bargaining for teachers, support staff, and other public workers in Wisconsin. The right to organize, the right to bargain health insurance or prep time, the right to have a voice in the profession – all of those things and more are under attack in Walker’s budget bill.
Ohio: Sen. Shannon Jones revealed the language of Senate Bill 5, a bill that will have a significant impact on public employees. SB5 eliminates collective bargaining for state employees, police officers, fire fighters and employees of higher education institutions, and significantly undermines collective bargaining for K-12 employees.

What would happen if you didn’t have a union to bargain your salary and benefits?

* What would your salary be?
* How much would you be paying for health insurance?
* Would you have a pension?

PSEA members are beginning to ask how they can show their support for their colleagues in Wisconsin and Ohio and to demonstrate their support for unions having the right to collectively bargain.

Here are two things you can do to show your support for the right to collectively bargain:

1. Show your support by wearing red on Tuesday Feb. 22. Take pictures at your work site and send them to PSEA Communications or share them on PSEA’s Facebook page. Call your colleagues to make sure they know about wearing red on Tuesday. Our theme is, “We Are One.”

2. Sign the online petition:

Lee, I think most people that have lived under a tyrant, understands what is happening here in the U.S.  I, for the life of me, cannot understand why everyone doesn't get it, and stand up for freedom.  Most of these union members have been so brainwashed, and will not listen to reason.  I'm so sorry for the horror your partner must have been made to endure under Hitler, but thank God for his grandmother.  And thank him for being a true patriot and standing on the right side of History.  God Bless!!

I'd recommend that you pull him out now, homeschool him till September and put him in a private school then.

It's to bad your child is not learning the true faxs about the american history, I think  every parent should send there children to a Charter School, I know some people who send there children there and they learn ,study, and there not afraid. Some teachers we have today are only interest in pay, insurance and union to protect them. You don't have to worry about that in a charter school, those are dedicated teachers without union help. I hope it stays that way, You don't see Obama sending his children to a dumb school with union teachers. good luck with your child and stand up againest unions teachers and the goons.

I was saying this during the election...  Media one sided back then....

Not that I am a Clinton supporter I really dislike them, but did not anyone think

it was odd that BO beat out Hilary - not even the media.....

I have you know Hilary and Obama, Bill, and big mouth Nancy P. were instructed by Saul Alinsky school. How to orgainize ,they were in the same boat, to over throw capitialism. Hillary was Mr. Alinsky favorite student, he wanted her  beside him and tour U.S. it all in the books. she is no different than Obama. This is why the united states is in an up roar. These people are not thru yet, only until we get them out of office. Obama has to go this next election. The Obamacare, all americans will have to have a micro-chip inserted on there body by 2013. that is in the health care bill. Its requird RFID implanted chip Sec 2521 page 1000. The government will establish a National Medical Device Registry to keep track of everyone on there health. Jeffery Immelt to be head up Obamas job council is just a coincidence. I wouldn't be suprise if he isn't handleing this. They companies Digital Angel Inc. and Manufactures are VeriChip located in Delry Beach FL. call your congressmen or woman, have them delet it from the bill better yet scrap the whole dam thing.
I'll keep saying this - the Fraud-in-chief must go now, not in 2012. He's doing too much damage.

If you remember, during the campaign Obama and Hillary were worst enemies - jabbing each other at every opportunity. Then they both suddenly disappeared for a couple of days. Obama's plane took off with press aboard, but not him. No one could figure out where they went. When they showed back up they appeared to be best of friends.

Where they disappeared to? The Bilderberg Group meetings. They had a meeting with George Soros who told them the way it was going to be - Obama was to be president and Hillary was to be secretary of state. Issue resolved.

These people are scary and they are teaching our children! Obama has again shown he is not the president for the people but only the leader of a certain section of this country. He is totally inept when it comes to solving national problems, security for our nation and dealing with foreign matters so he picks a fight with one governor in one state purely because he is a Republican! He is nothing but a Chicago thug. Al Capone would be proud!!

I never voted for this socialist president and I never believed his lies----He is Hugo Chavez's best friend.   Here in Chicago we have nothing more then Chicago thugs---- our county is well known as "Crook County".  Barak learned well from his socialist friends.  Dirk Durbin is one of his lackeys.

I stand with Gov Walker!!  Don't back Down--Stand Firm!!

AND DOLORES BE SURE TO STICK ALL OUR "FREINDS" WHO "KNEW BETTER" WHEN THEY VOTED FOR THIS SUBVERSIVE COMMUNIST BAST---D!!!!!

HE NEEDS TO RESIGN BEFORE THERE IS NOTHING BLOODY LEFT!!!  WE ARE IN DEEP DEEP DEEP WITH THIS MORON BARRY!!! He is 'governing" PART of the country. HE IS BEING BIASED by these actions.  We COULD HAVE HIM on SEDITION and meddling in foreign elections directly with Odinga in Kenya.

AND LET US REMIND OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY that HILLIARY IS MADE FROM THE SAME BLOODY MOLD! BILL CLINTON & GEORGE SOROS ARE CONNECTED AT THE HIP RE: MEDIA MATTERS. SO AS FAR AS A "WOMAN" CANDIDATE- HILLIARY IS AN NON-ENTITY. DURBIN, CARL LEVIN, FEINSTEIN, DODD, SLAPPY FRANK,  AL GORE, BILL & HILL, MICHELLE THE RADICAL MATA HARI WHO MAKES US CRAZY W/ HER CHEAP ANTICS AND LIES, THESE PEOPLE need to be removed by our votes asap. wHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER THE MAJORITY, NOW we need compromise...yeah, right.

Why do you think the Mexican border is still WIDE open - so Al Queda et all can infiltrate & overwhelm - We need to get some old-fashioned LAW ENFORCEMENT HAPPENING . EVERY DAY our very lives are in more and more danger with these cockroaches are in Washington. WASTE, LIES, EXTRAVAGANCE, ABUSE, EXCUSES. TYRANNY. These are the virtues of the ComocratDemocrats and Progressive

T-RexpublicanRepublicans.

ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN REPORT ON THE TEAs protest & the LINE OF DIVISION THE POLICE were trying to hold by keeping them seperate ???

The boy has not intention of resigning.  He is succeeding in his intention and that is to destroy this great nation of ours before he leaves office.

I was there. The TEA Party and other conservative groups were represented by an estimated 10,000! Herman Cain, Andrew Breitbart and others spoke. Unfortunately, the group I was with was unable to get close enough to hear them so I had to listen to the videos on youtube when I got home. The conservative delegation was not ignored. They made themselves known. It was intense, but awesome.

I had several exchanges myself and witnessed even more. Libs and conservatives talking one-on-one or in small groups, discussing the issues. I was really impressed at the civility of most of the folks. Most discussions ended with a slap on the shoulder or even a handshake. There's always gonna be some who don't play well with others, but for the most part it was very peaceful.

Personally, I didn't experience the police trying to keep the groups separated. The protesters were walking around the capitol square in the street, chanting their 'slogans' while the conservatives (for the most part) stood on the sidewalk and yelled their own chants as the libs walked by. There were even some pro-Walker folks walking among the protesters. I walked across the street, sign in hand, voice at a high volume, right through the crowd and never had a problem. When I got to the other side, I waited for a minute and then crossed again in the opposite direction. I did this most of the afternoon and didn't experience anything other than a few comments, and even they weren't too harsh (no profanity).

Our speakers appeared on the south stairs to the capitol. When the speakers were finished and the crowd started to disperse, some of the protesters tried to seal off the street and not allow our groups to cross. The mounted police backed their horses into the crowd, opening a walkway for us. When officers noticed a discussion starting to get heated, they brought two or three to stand right there, making sure things didn't get out of hand. I was impressed with law enforcements role, also. They did a great job.

I did, however, experience one person throwing something at me. Where the group I was with met prior to going to the square (we were about four blocks away) a young woman walked into her apartment building, flipping us off as she did so. A couple of minutes later she reappeared and stood on the porch. She took the top off of a bottle of water and as we started walking she threw some water on me. I got hit by about four drops. She's probably still bragging about how she threw something at those conservative bas****s... LOL!
