Permalink Reply by Rose Jenkins on December 12, 2012 at 10:41am I have been saying Merry Christmas to everyone I see these days; and I mean everyone. People I pass in the malls and stores, checkout people, waitresses, other shoppers, anyone that I can make eye contact with. So far I haven't had anyone make a stink about it yet. I don't exactly know what I will do it they do; but I know I will not stop saying Merry Christmas.

Permalink Reply by Conrad Damann on December 12, 2012 at 12:20pm IF THEY SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS I TELL THEME HAY THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN OUR COUNTRY IT'S MERRY CHRISTMAS AND DON'T FORGET IT
Permalink Reply by E.A. Ellis on December 12, 2012 at 12:45pm I wouldn't donate to the Salvation Army bell ringer until he wished me a Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. He went on about offending people. I told him the only people he'd offend by saying Merry Christmas were Liberal Atheists.
Permalink Reply by James Camp on December 12, 2012 at 12:57pm I ran across a Salvation Army bell ringer in front of a big box store and she was saying MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. I told her that she impressed me with her smiles and comments. She made my day and I told her so.
I work in a retail establishment and wear a button on my apron that says, "You May Wish Me a Merry Christmas" and make sure that I wish my customers one. My workplace doesn't stop me, but neither do they encourage it. From the actions of corporate, it shows that they care very little about Christmas other than it being a grand sales opportunity. The way that employees are treated during this time shows very little understanding of what this day means to many.

Permalink Reply by Mike on December 12, 2012 at 2:43pm Some of these stores changed their Christmas greetings for purely economic reasons. There are some who are "nice" but actively support the homosexual agenda.
Why not tell them in a nice way "There is only one reason for the Holidays, the Birth of Christ"?
You would be presently surprised at most of the reactions when you do.
God bless, yours in Their Hearts,

I'm not really sure of the criteria the AFA uses. Is it in their advertisement that these are decided? Or that when someone went in a place, they were hit with the word Christmas, or did someone wish you a Merry Christmas? Some the stores on the lists are individually owned stores, so doesn't it have more to do with who is running the place rather than the establishment? I know about one of the stores on the okay list and it is all about selling Christmas but any employee there can tell you that they forfeit Christmas by working there. They can tell you that they forfeited Thanksgiving and that on Christmas day, their best gift will be that the nightmare is over. Just presenting well doesn't mean that there is any idea what the season is about.
